Hi, Im still on my trial account and since I can only play for like 1 min tops im not to sure im gonna buy a regular account. This is the problem (wich i have petitioned 4 days ago, still no response)My comp keeps going to bluescreen and then restarts Microsoft claims its a videodriver problem and wants me to update the driver or buy a new graphics card! I have all the newest drivers for everything, a brand new comp and dont have this problem with any other game.
Im sitting with a AMD Athlon 64 Dualcore 4400, 2gig ram. A Nvidia geforce 7900gtx 512 graphix card. (Dont tell me I need to buy a new one. )Soundblaster x-fi 7.1, there really shouldnt be any problems. Its not a overheating problem either. Anyways, would be thankful of any help. Tried all that I red in here without any results. Hoping for a patch or something. I wish ccp could atleast say something.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but have you tried reinstalling Windows?
If that doesn't help, it's probably a hardware error. Doesn't need to be your video card - there are plenty of other options, especially if you buy the cheapest stuff you can find with those specifications.
Reliability will suffer - I always make a point of buying the *second* cheapest, if I'm looking at price that way.
At any rate, google for memtest86+ and try running that. Preferably /before/ reinstalling Windows, too. It might find something; the memory chips are a common culprit.

Some games run into problems with dualcore processors. Don't know if EVE does (all I have is Athlon 64 single-core...) but here's a few tricks you could try.
Alt-Tab out of EVE and press Ctrl+Alt+Del to the Task Manager, under the Processes tab, right click the .exe file for EVE and go to Set Affinity, Uncheck CPU 1 or 2.
If you haven't already you can get an updated dual-core processor driver from AMD here: http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html look for AMD AthlonÖ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (x86 and x64 exe) 1.3.2
There is also a Hotfix for Windows XP w/ SP2 that hasn't been released normally. http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?id=896256
If you think you need the Hotfix but don't want to have to contact Microsoft Tech Support you can download it here: http://exphose.com/upfiles/1/WindowsXP-KB896256-v3-x86-ENU.exe
Hope at least one of those works for you.

This is the error message I get! STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER - or - STOP: 0x100000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER_M
Btw, Ccp has answered my petition now and are helping me too! Still want your opinions too though!
Safe journeys to ya all!

Ok, first of all. Thanx for your help Kad. But, im not intrested in running my games in less hardware acceleration then im capable of. I didnt buy a expensive card just to turn off the hardware accelaration. Anyways, I do use the nv4.sys driver. But I have updated my drivers as of today, so what am I supposed to do to get rid of this bloody driver then?
