I'm just wondering, I think it would be great to have a Domi that wasn't the normal space-potato of death. Just a upgrade to the normal, plain Jane Domi.
I mean you can get both the Caladrai battleships pimped out with faction or navy stuff, why can't the Domi have the same treatment?

There is no faction armageddon (except the imperial one but that doesn't really count), typhoon or scorpion (the Rattlesnake is much closer to a raven in slots and bonuses than a scorp).
The navy versions are all tier 2 battleships, and the pirate ones are usually based off of the tier 2 (Machariel - tempest, vindicator - megathron etc.)
Not sure about the bhaalgorn, its hull is an armageddon, but its much closer to an apoc in terms of usage.

if there was a faction dommy- i would expect it to go upwards of 3billion if it kept its bonuses and got a big boost in powergrid.

The election was supposed to give out a gallente navy dominix to everyone but CCP got lazy and just gave everyone navy megas.

Bhaalgorn is a faction Apoc (identical fittings as apoc, +1 med slot), Rattlesnake is faction raven (identical fittings as raven, +1 low slot)
I guess the imperial geddon counts as a faction geddon, but good luck on getting one.
Faction domi should be released when proper faction Scorp, Geddon, and phoon are released.

It makes perfect sense to me that the pirate domi should be from the rogue drone faction, heavily modified for use by fleshies of course.

None of the tier1s have faction equivalents (bhaal and rattlesnake are apoc and raven based respectively, don't let the model fool you)

I spoke to CCP on this matter. Fact is that the Domi is just too ugly. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you Gallante pilots this but well...... just look at it

Have to agree, a fleet phoon would make my year :O)
tbh i dont know why non of the tier 1's aint made into fleet issues, they have different uses, one would think they would be usefull for the factions, just look at the gates in minmatar space, i dont see any tempest on patrol ;o)

Maybe there are and they just haven't had the BPCs seeded?
I imagine the Guristas Ferox would basicly be a Ferox with 50% velocity bonus for missiles, maybe drop the optimal for a dmg bonus from gallente, and the resists bonus from caldari.

If you look carefully at the customs typhoon it has 7(x2) turret hardpoints ... just a FYI...

Imagine how the caldari feel: we've been given a scorp model and its nothing like scorp. It would be like putting the vindicator on the dominix model, but leaving it as a glorified megathron
Btw, I didn't think goons were allowed to post in ships/mods
