Ok im not quite a newb anymore and i have experience of flying just about every minnie ship. Anyway i was thinking of having some cheap fun with my jump clone and a cyclone in 0.0 and my current setup is purely mission npc.
I was hoping someone here might give me a few suggestion for 0.0 setup ratting and enough pvp to run from anything bigger than a cruiser :) chicken
Was also hoping to keep it relitavely cheap say dont wanna spend more than 30mil on fittings really, as im a solo kinda guy and i have to buy a new BS at the weekend :/

wouldnt the gyros be pointless on autos? maybe a WCS or a damage control be better? was also expecting someone to sujest a cap injector so as not having to fit a pds and instead have a large shield booster

tbh, I would fit a WCS. it often saved my ship.

i was reading earlier that a solo rupture couldnt handle many of the rats in 0.0 without a t2 tank and need a cargo hold full of ammo to kill some of the bigger rats Even tho i do love ruptures i didnt think they would be powerful enough in tank or dps to deal with 0.0

I've had good luck with the Rupture in 0.0.
You need to be careful of combinations of combinations of npc cruisers and battleships. The cruisers can hurt, so be sure to take those down, while the BS's will have a hard time hitting a ruppty that is orbiting closely.
It takes a bit of time to brake the tank of an NPC battleship in a rupture, but not that long.

I would go with the WCS's, but Gyro's still are great for autos... ------------------------ Malum Vir Pirate Corporation Recruitment |
