I would like to know what peoples thoughts are on the lack of GÇÿGÇÖnewGÇÖGÇÖ content coming for Wormholers in Hyperion, not the mechanic changes but actual GÇÿGÇÖGÇÖnewGÇÖGÇÖ things we have never seen before.
It is quite evident that CCP had no intention of listening to any of the player feedback on the Mass-based spawn distance thread. It was simply a means of damage mitigation by CCP, i.e. GÇÿGÇÖwe are giving you this whether you like it or not but please feel involved in the process by posting on this threadGÇÖGÇÖ. I mean come on guys reallyGǪ 20 days before the launch are CCP going to start making changes?
What ticks me off more than this insult to our intelligence is the fact that CCP, by dropping the ball so badly (intentionally or unintentionally, I am not quite sure) has diverted the majority our attention away from something elseGǪGǪGǪCCP have not actually created anything new for WHGÇÖs since 2008. So what can we eagerly anticipate in Hyperion? Some new content? Something all wormholers can get involved in, explore, experience, enjoy??? Unfortunately not. We are just getting the same content we have had for the last 6 years with different mechanics. ItGÇÖs the cop out, the get around the great evasion of doing any real work and creating something new. The meeting for this mechanic may have gone something like this: GÇÿGÇÖ letGÇÖs just mix things up a little and see what happensGÇÖGÇÖ GÇÿGÇÖerm yeh ok sounds good to meGÇÖGÇÖ. Meeting finished. I mean realistically thatGÇÖs probably not how it went, but it would have given us the same outcome.
Now I would like to take you all on a journey with me, to a not so distant land occupied by United Systems Commonwealth, where an uncanny similarity occurred 2 Christmases ago. Its Christmas morning and young Alzuule is eagerly awaiting his Christmas presents. He is in for a real treat. CCP Santa has brought him an awesome remote control fire engine. ItGÇÖs great, it makes loads of noise, its red, it flyGÇÖs around the living room and he loves itGǪGǪGǪ
The following Christmas CCP Santa paints AlzuueGÇÖs fire engine brown and gives it him backGǪWell Merry Christmas!!!!!!!. CCP Santa then tells Alzuule, GÇÿGÇÖhey kid, its ok, donGÇÖt worry, this Christmas I didnGÇÖt give anyone new presents I just repainted their old ones brown. But there is this awesome online forum where you can go give me your feedback.
Alzuule races to the forum to tell Santa that he is a big red Christmas Grinch and that he should really re-consider giving kids back their old presents in a different colour as this might discredit him as a man responsible for bringing Christmas joy to all. CCP Santa cannot be bothered to solve the problem properly because too many kids have complained, so he comes up with a cunning plan ...I will paint the all the toys a slightly different shade of brown and give them back. Problem solved.
Thank You and Good Night
P.S If you give me 1 billion isk I will paint things brown for you

This cannot be! Santa only gives presents to good little boys and girls. Alzuule is bad and doesn't deserve a fire engine.

We already have wormholes....making them smaller etc etc doesn't make it new |

We just need new modules, or even ammo, based ob sleeper tech. Make it so the relic and data sites for these new equipment only drop in non-cap holes, and you've helped two areas at once. |

meh..get close to it as near as possible to make the SB work. Afaik you have to be at 6000m from the Wh and the smartbombs haev 6 - 7 kilometers range...so it should work. [X] < Nail here for new monitor |

For about a year I've been feeling that wormhole space has become stagnant and predictable. I don't have any facts or figures but it feels like there is far less activity in wormhole space these days.
I think that CCP need to do two things to make wormholes interesting again. Firstly they should add "new stuff" only available in wormhole space. This could include new T3 things to manufacture, a new class of wormhole or new types of sleepers (e.g roaming sleepers). This would attract new people to wormholes space and put us on a path to filling the empty systems.
Secondly, they need to add more conflict drivers. At the moment the only conflict drivers in wormhole space are the desire to pad your killboard or a grudge between two forces. K-space has lots of reasons to fight and i think we could do with similar incentives.
After we have gotten used to the mechanic changes in Hyperion, wormhole space is going to be as stagnant as it ever was IMHO. +1 |

Impossible. He doesn't do enough bearing.
As for the changes, I'm glad J-Space finally got some love. It's not brilliant, but we've had nothing significant until now. There's plenty more they could have done, sure. As for the changes people made the most noise about not wanting, I think the plan is to wait and see what us players do with the new mechanics. I can't see anything earth-shattering come out of the mass/spawn thing, but so long as we get more 'player interaction' out of it and not less, it can stay.
Totally underwhelmed with the frigate WH's. It's a step in the right direction, but overall, there's nothing to drag more new people into the unknown, which is disappointing. Always bet on stupid

Santa Fozzie can i has new T3 ships? Frigates, battlecruisers, battleships, industrials? T3 pod?! I think some of the wh veterans would love you if you made t3 frigates, they could be a blend of an assault frigate and a interceptor and ewar frig and cov op frig?
going over the top: what about T3 pos mods, poses? Ammo and weapons and drones? T3 scan probe launchers and scan probes, i can go on but i got to get back to work. |

You have to be as far away from the WH as the range of your bombs. If you're not pants on head ********, know some basic math, and have some people, then you'll be fine. If thuggin' was a category I'd win a Grammy |

The chains I've scanned in the last 3-4 days can attest to this. Nothing more than a PI alts as far as the probes can fly :/ This includes chains linked from random k-space connections.
Total ships doing things I've encountered in the last 100 or so systems scouted include (and are limited to): Epithals Thorax; POS'd up having seen the sig spawn and a C5 group huffing gas in a C4 (Venture, Prospectx2, Tengu, Proteus); sadly there were only two of us on at that point and as we began looking for ways to draw out the T3s the others reshipped turning what might have been a fun fight into definitely more than we could tangle with in off hours.
Reasons for pilots to come live in wspace needed; check
New uses for the materials dropped in data/relic/salvage would be nice Actual reasons to fight over things aside from grudges (as the more groups condense or move out the fewer potential grudges to generate fights, rinse repeat)
