Hey, we even got one with a typo in it! Thats the way to do it, thats how to react peeps. Hey, wait, i think we aint got "Cluster Full" threads in the Buy/sell subforums. OH MAN, im so glad, im not a mod of this place :D

The 9 minutes was the message ingame that the server was going down in 9 minutes. The error you get when loading EVE is that its not ready yet .. plain and simple - Battle Droid

Like i said before but ill spell it out now. T H E Y S A I D R E B O O T I N 9 M I N U T E S. They frigging did NOT say reboot will take 9 minutes. The cluster takes WAY more time to boot ... let alone shut down ... or even the time they need for the maintenance work there performing (whatever that may be). - Battle Droid

Odaroff	Posted - 2006.07.22 15:53:00 - [63] Patience is one thing, but EVE holds the record for downtime in an MMO that has been live for several years. You'd think by now they'd have found a way to either not have down time at all or at least minimize it. At the very least they should be able to reliably bring the cluser back up after a downtime. Perhaps this "all users on a single shard" idea was not as great as CCP thought it was.
