Hey there,
I¦d love to try this on my own but the cluster is full, so I'll appreciate if anyone knows this and can share the information.
I have two screens, can I run EVE in one and keep my Windows desktop (with work applications) running in the other screen? Will the mouse work?
If it¦s of any use, I¦m running an IBM T42 Thinkpad with ATI Radeon 7500, plus a Syncmaster 750s CRT on the side.
Thanks!!!

if you run eve in a window you should have no problems (\_/)This is Bunny. Copy Bunny (O.o)Signature to help him on his (> <)quest to World Domination... |

Window sucks, no full screen?
Thank you for your reply.

You may want to try out ATI's Hydravision software, but I think you can do this regardless. I had a friend who used to game with 3 monitors, 2 on his main card and one on a second card, but with the game running full-screen on only one monitor.
Regardless, you may experience additional graphics trouble, as the Radeon 7500 is by no means a very speedy card. It could use up a fair amount of frame buffer running two screens at once.

I run 2 screens on my ATI 9600 with my outlook client in the second screen with EVE in full screen mode. The mouse works fine, but the minute I click outside the EVE screens EVE minimizes. Moving the mouse in and out does not minimize EVE.

If you play in a window, and set it to the same size as the screen you want it on, then run Evemon, and use the option to fill the screen with a windowed Eve, you can run 2 monitors at the same time, and click away all day.
Kinda nice too....

Go with JDPower's advice, and use EVEMon to keep the window full screen.
Its what I do with my MacBook... the TFT is used for work, browsing, etc, and the big monitor for EVE. :-)
