He lives up on the third floor, the top one, the only way up is a single stairway, which can easily be bloked with various furniture. Every single room has two doors, so it's not easy to get trapped inside them, in the unlikely event that the zombies do get up to the apartment. To top it all, there's a retractable fire ladder on the side of the balcony - It can be pulled up by a person on the inside after someone goes out to find food or other activities. All in all, a zombie proof house if there ever was one!
