Greetings all.
I have released v1.4 of the map today, which is available at Kal's EVE Wallpaper MAP v1.4
Changes: 1. SPC (Syndicate-Placid Commonwealth) Removed 2. All Political boundaries resized to better reflect actual control 3. Added Political 'Protectorate' areas which are considered claimed but not controlled 4. Added WARZONE warning 5. Updated High Threat markers 6. Added NPA (New Pirate Alliance)
Cheers

It'd be great to jazz it up with DHTML or a bit of Flash to get some mouseover info on each area.

Edited by: Danton Marcellus on 05/10/2003 00:28:04 I'm curious on the Venal stance on Pure Blind, I don't think it's a protectorate of theirs anymore, claim or whatnot.

"I'm curious on the Venal stance on Pure Blind, I don't think it's a protectorate of theirs anymore, claim or whatnot."
... IIRC the current stance is, NVA intends to make and keep Pure Blind 'pirate-free'.

So NVA is staying out of Pure Blind then.

Current NVA Pureblind stance is this;
We intend to keep the region free and open for trade and commerce. We allow full access to lawful shipping but will be pursuing an active and enthusiastic anti-pirate agenda in this territory.
NVA considers the region a "protectorate" and will not recognise any territorial claim on the region.
(ie. anybody who attempts to close pureblind or levy tolls or whatnot will be a) ignored, and b) if the matter is pressed; eliminated)

Who are the NPA?
I still have a 'bunch' of stuff in some old hangars up there, but have not been back for a visit in about 2 months.
Should the day come that I decide to go up there to pick up my belongings, what is the security up there?
If you are in the NPA, and read this post, what is the status of that area and do you control peaceful, or through force as a stronghold?

Great map! Thanks for taking the time to do this.
I'm curious about what the Molden-Heath alliance might be. Been busy in the Molden-Heath region over the past month, and your map is the first I've heard of it. Whoever they are, they don't seem to have much of a presence.

It's up on EveGuardian... If you have earlier versions of the Map I would love to have them too, to make it possible to see in a year or so, how alliances has grown and been replaced by others.. etc ..

Greetings.
I am seeking submissions from individuals and organisations on up to date regional Alliances, Political groups, Pirate zones and other such information.
This data shall be reviewed and integrated into the current EVE Alliance Map (Kal's EVE GeoPol MAP v1.4).
I am also seeking specific information on alliance locations & membership sizes, pirate group locations & sizes and locations of conflict or high risk.
You can submit your data here, to myself via EVEMAIL or to me via pm at Eve i:Com.
Many thanks.

I'm guessing that it's a mutual-defense alliance like the Placid Alliance was. i.e. not an alliance that collects tolls or prevents "legitimate" non-alliance players from playing in the region. ------------ Ezra Cornell pe0n, Xanadu Corporation |
