Some of us have 30 mins, 1 hour, 3 hours to mine if we are lucky. Some of us have commitments, but love to play eve, this is the best game ever.
But why do roids slow us down?
I can mine 50k omber in 1h 20m, but takes almost as long to go get it in an indy. Because big roids slow the ships down, I mean whats the point? As quick gamers, time is of the essence, this kind of thing is drivin me away. Ive been doin this since May 6th. Now its doin my head in. This game needs to look to other games and think what makes simple things simple.
Why should a big roid hold up my mining by 15 mins per trip? 50k omber = 6 trips, delay by 15 mins everytime. I dont have that luxory.
Is there any way around this?
I have my gf in the background, saying have you finished yet. No darlin, I'm stuck by this big roid, be with you in 30 mins. Gotta get my ore.
Doesn't wash, gf not happy.
Whats the point of roids slowing us down?
Time is precious.

Find a belt with omber in it that isn't swallowed by huge scordite rocks.
Or, better yet, mine the scordite rocks.

Put your can as far away from the roids as poss, (11500m's). Set up some bookmarks, one for the can and one for the station. You should be able to haul a load every 3-4 mins like this, assuming there is a station in the system you are mining. |

hang in there man. get to your max range and put the can at max... add to this the coming mobile refiners should make it go MUCH smoother for you.
i sure hope they blow up pretty

You've been mining omber since may 6th? Your doing something VERY wrong, and have the most patience I've ever seen to be staring at rocks for that long.

Thanks for the info guys. I like the get the gf a copy of eve and get her to haul, dont think it will work though, not enough puzzles in the game for her.
I have been minin omber since day 1 of the game, but only have a limited time to use the game, work and demanding gf see to that. Still savin up for my moa. Now I am keeping more of a distance from the roids, hope my drones come back home. As for navigating around them, why? What is the point of slowing down the ships with big roids? What is the point?

what r u talking about "not enough puzzles"???
i can get u like three right off the top of my head....
1. is WhiteDwarf realy a 12 year old girl?
2. is Ragnar Bill Gates?
3. why can't Playboy Corp invite me to one of their partys?

oh my gosh...still saving for a moa? and been playing since MAY6! Either im on ***** and play eve way to much or CCP actually was hoping the game would go along at that pace!?!?
