Motherships are killable.
And I'm sure BoB has more than just 2 motherships from both tornies. And on EvETV some dude was wearing a TS with a screenie of the factory production que thingy saying 3 days till complition of an Avatar class Titen. So I'm sure BoB and ASCN have this baby also. ----------------------------- Need a new sig. Mail me with offers and ideas. 50mill isk to the sig that I use. |

Cloaked Interdictor, good surveilance and personally id say intergrate a spy into the corp/Alliance of the m/ship are the way ahead.
After that A few Neutraliser Battleships and cruisers deploying bubbles will keep it in place...
IF it cant move - it will die, and at the current cost you could throw a rather large sum at it and still walk away with a smile on your face - Add to that the prestige of killing the first one...Priceless.
The first M/ship to die will be by betrayal from an insider within the Corp, off course the Corp/Alliance will have to actively use it and put it to risk for there to be a chance so that limits most potential "targets"...

I'm not certain about the exact situation, but due to the broken-ness of moms, I think BoB have denied to actually be given theirs yet. As far as I know, they actually just have a pair of "I owe you one wyvern" notes from the GMs.
Just hearsay though: maybe a knowledgable bobbit could confirm.

Oddly, a pirate corp near tribute has a Nyx, and uses it to ransom people. At first I didn't believe it when I heard about this through the grapevine, until he decloaked on one of our members and did it to them.

Yep, I've been jumped twice by a mothership - got away both times - but I needed a cup of tea and a sit down afterwards :P

Sounds like you both had a run in with us
You know some people have actually complained about the fact we use our Mothership to pirate. I assume they would rather see it used behind a POS shield or doing logistical work =P

YARR! I'm a paitent man and when faced with the prospect of freighters entering low sec space I couldnt resist but to set up and wait for them to jump in Ransoming for the win (guess this is why people dont like cloaks on capital ships )

Gah its you! Most people panic when faced with the Nyx but you kept your cool the first time and made it back to the gate as I recall. Second time was a stab issue I belive

First time I got scrambled by the recon ship, when it cynod I got out. I think the pilot commented that he mistimed it.
Second time I slowboated to the gate, tanked the drones and jumped.

I heard a rumor that The Establishment lost their Mothership? That wasnt true I take it?
Pity
Remember having a nightmare, where I was forced to come up with a strategy to take that ship out.. Then we moved out of providence, and Ive slept like a baby since.
