Greetings a friend and I are planning to gang up for lvl4 him in his Prophecy and me in a BS (Typhoon). He will kill cruisers and frigates while I take care of the heavies and draw agro. Using quickfit I have come up with this setup, have no clue as to its effectiveness though!
HIGH: 4*Cruise Msl Launchers 4*1200MM Arty MEDS: 1*Web 1*Tracking Comp 1*Sensor Booster/Tracking comp. 1*100MN AB II LOW: 2*1600MM Plate 1*Large Armor Rep. 2*Active Hardeners 2*RCU
With my (puny) skills I have about 170PG and 87CPU left! It can run its tank for at least 3min and goes 477m/s. The cannons have an optimal of about 50KM which I think is decent! Can this Typhoon cut it in lvl4's with the support of a Prophecy?
Thank you in advance

That look pretty good to me that one, good damage and a really mean tank... also those Torps look incredible when they explode . Thank you for the wisdom!

For running missions, Arian, I would go with yours over Foulis' simply because sniping is generally more effective than close combat for missions.
Some suggestions, though: 1. Drop the second plate for a hardener. This should also free up an RCU for a hardener. You should now have 4 ahrdeners if my math is right. 2. Ditch the web for a sensor booster or tracking comp (whichever you wouldn't otherwise have set), leaving tackling to the BC. -----------------------------------------------------------

to me you should not worry so much about damage, you have to "tank" so first build a solid tank and let your friend help with the damage.
also 3 mins are not enought to tank in lv4, expecially in some missions where you have tons of ships to destroy and maybe a turret or 2 that continue to shot you.
lows 1lar, 4 specific rat hardeners, 1 damage control , cpr or bcu or rcu or even a 5th hardeners (if you face multi damage mission) depending by your energy skill
mid 1 ab, 3 cap rec or 2cap rec + webber (depends by your energy skills)
high depends by enemies short range 4 cruise + 4 650mm
long range 4 cruise + 2-4 1200mm + eventually mid nos or tractor beam or even 4 heavy + 1400mm or 1200mm
for some missions you can even go with a full tank 4 cruise 4 nos + 2 lar
5 heavy + 5 medium rat specific drones

From my experience, unless you plan on burning tech II ammo in those dual 650mm AC's, they're not worth the grid they suck up. Fit your favorite medium long range weapon of choice instead (I chose medium beams), and use the grid on something worthwhile, like a double rep and cap booster.
Yes, I take some ribbing for the fitting. I also solo level 4's and burn through cruisers as fast as I can keep them targeted by working them over with 5 large drones and the beams. Torps and a target painter kill the Battleships and Battlecruisers.
I also recomend a large faction smartbomb. Disgustingly effective on rogue drone missions. J.A.F.O.
