this happened to me today, and the f'ed up thing is that i actually did them all 
CCP ; RETHINK THIS STUPID MISSION "RANDOM" SYSTEM

Not four, but three "Pirate Invasion" in a row a few days ago.
No missions for a while, that one wore me thin.

try 8 missions same one in a row - and then in that sequence at 20 it had been 15 out of 20.
If u compare it over 1000 subsequent missions u will find it is a bit more random (im keeping count for last 3 months what agents are giving me)

What are you complainin about lol It earns you isk and you know whats coming, so whats the big deal?
Go and do some pvp like real men

i was reading somewhere and this looks pretty accurate
65% of players are carebears - total value of carebear assets 35%
35% of players are PVPers - total value of PVPer (alliance pirate etc) assets 65%
So carebears have the numerical advantage while PVPers have the economic clout due to low sec and 0.0 rewards - assets
Of course this is a simple breakdown and a lot of players mix and match ie 0.0 PVPers during quite time doing 0.0 missions - also empire wars mix this up a bit more.
with 65% of activity being carebears CCP no doubt would aim a lot of its development efforts towards such goals (ie missions cosmos and population of empire)
35% of attention is focused on 0.0 (carriers outposts new regions new NPC types to kill and constant balancing of combat and PVP related issues)
Ok just some random thoughts go on.

u think i dont pvp? i use an alt for 0,0 missions, while the high sp character pvp's. When there are no targets around i log in the alt and start missioning, and a "little" randomness would be appreachiated.

as a carebear mish runner myself, I'd like to raise another fact.
Just say that 65% of the population are carebears such as myself, and we have 35% of the wealth, I'd suggest that 90% of that wealth is owned by 10% of the players who can actually mish run properly.
The amount of times i read about people losing hacs and BS's on lvl 3 mish brings big tears to my eyes,,, not for the fact "Mish are borked",, but that there are actually people out there who suck that much.
Vengeance 4 times in a row i wouldnt complain about,, in fact i'd love it. Rub my hands together everytime I get enemies abound, which is about once every two days (infrequent playing),,, local hull cargo mods on top of 20mil worth of gallente tags per mish, here i come!

Yea know what you mean got 5 pirate invasions one after the other last week did them got a 6th refused that and got another but that was a nice change got the old one.
