hey guys, does anyone know of a good character planner where you can see how long it'll take to get to a certain skill and the pre-requesites? i found this one here but i am VERY loathe to put in my username and password.
any suggestions?

You want EVE-Mon, a much better program :).
If you don't want to automatic retrieval, download the XML file manualy from My Character (<---- ) and use that.

wow, thank you - this thing is awesome - i'm downloading the XML instead of giving them my password, but is this considered a fairly 'safe' site?

While not an offical program, I would concider it to be safe. If any issues were to come up, they would be posted in the stickied EVEmon thread.

That's a good habit, don't let it die. Without the comminity backing I wouldn't have trusted EVEMon either.
