Example: A lvl 3 agent gives more standings rewards than a lvl 2 agent of same quality? How much more?
I have received 0.14 standings increase for the hardest mission from a lvl 2 agent quality 18 and only 0.4 standings increase from a lvl 3 agent quality -7 for the hardest mission. The lvl 3 missions are much harder than the lvl2, so my question is how do i farm for standings, because i'm not interested in LP, only standings with a corporation i'm doing missions for.

but it still doesn't explain why i got so much standing for lvl2 silence the informant and so little for the seven prison thingy mission lvl 3. I mean i had to buy a dominix to do that mission and all i wanna do is reasearch and farm for standings.

erm could be my maths but isnt 0.4 a bigger standings increase than 0.14. So you got 0.26 more standings for the lvl 3 mission than you did for the lvl 2

The absolute LOWEST ranked lvl 3 agent will ALWAYSE give more standing increase, loyalty points, and reward isk than even the HIGHEST ranked lvl 2 agent.
The ONLY possible exception would be if you had the skills to increase rewards from a certain lvl 2 division (say intelligence) but chose to take a lvl 3 mission from a division that you do not have the skills to increase rewards from. Even then you would have to take the highest quality lvl 2 agents and one of the lowest quality lvl 3 agents.
It is also important to note that different missions from the same agent give different standing increases. A mission that has you transporting 2 refugees from the agents station to a station 3 jumps away will net signifigantly less rewards than say a 3 part mission involving a multiple gate deadspace zone with random ambushes.
Another important thing to note is that .14 is smaller than .4, are you sure you did not mean .04?

It sounds like you have run a lot of missions with the L2 agent, and gained a personal standing with them enough to make effective quality something like 40+. Whereas with your new L3 agent, you will be using the overall corp faction which will be lower.
You should find out that the more missions you run for your L3 agent, your personal faction increases and the rewards improve too.
Check effective quality, that can have the affects you have noted.

It seems you are very right, after running a few lvl 3 missions the standing rewards increased dramatically.
