In the above thread, two people other than me have stated that they experience CTD's or reboots while using a variation of the Asus A8N- motherboard series. I too use this motherboard, and im wondering if there is a pattern involved.

I had nothing but problems with that board. A8N-SLI Premium. Board wouldn't even try to POST sometimes. Constant lockups in games. EVE would CTD or even completely lock up sometimes.
I finally swapped it out for an EVGA-N47 board. Every single one of my problems went away. No more lockups, systems POSTS every time.
I've read that a lot of people had issues with the A8N boards.

A8N-E here. No CTD's yet with eve.

I've got a new machine with a nFORCE4-A939 and it's locking eve up, tried disabling in game sound but still locks up, not impressed 1 little bit :(

Asus P5LD2 Deluxe here, I'm getting intermittent crashes and cold reboots with EVE. This usually happens on undock or on jump.

Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe.
Everything was PERFECT a few days ago, then they did something and now the client constant CTD's if I undock. Everything else works perfectly.

I have the A8N-SLI Premium (latest bios, chipset and CPU drivers, AMD64 X2 4400, 2GB RAM, non-SLI 7900GT, onboard sound) and experience no problems whatsoever with Eve or anything else -- nothing that would give me any cause to attribute problems to the motherboard, at any rate.

I've an A8N5X, all latest drivers from Nvidia site. Havent ever had a crash problem, though I havent played for a week now.
