Like many people I am sick of the constant spam in the TRADE channel. So I have created a channel called MiniTrade which will be moderated. Everyone is welcome to join and advertise their requirements or items. But all adverts must be 4 lines or less. Anyone who breaks this rule will be gagged/banned/ejected etc.
Simple. Come and enjoy the hush.

I am looking forward to try your channel out as soon as I am able. I hope it will work out well for you and hopefully replace the current chaotic Trade channel in a near future.

You can't expect a newly formed public channel to get active right away. If you (the non-mods) want it to work out too, just idle it a few days even if no one is there; eventually enough people will idle it that business will start happening-- and of course more will join in, etc.
If everyone just walks in, sees it's empty, and leaves... the channel will fail. It has to start with a few.

Problem is getting the people onto the channel. If it does start up properly then I'll hand out moderator pins to peeps so it can be moderated at all times. But for now although it does seem to be a popular idea not many people are logging in to check it out.

the idea is good, though ppl seem so shy there, when i see some.
there is certainly no spam there ... there's not even talks.
i guess it needs a little time again to be ''active''
