ffs... it wasnt a "rail crow" it was a rocket crow. The only bad move was actually fitting rockets when only a longm range crow with snakes could win that type of fight or bring it to a stalemate

Well he would only have had a chance if he has a Snake set like Gunstar which I guess he doesn't so wether or not he had rails is rather unimportant.

It's obviouse why he went for that setup. He used rocket launchers and had spare grid for a railgun.

No way anything could've killed that thing, unless the pilot crashed or completely messed up.
Just another reason why pirate implants should be banned from the Tournament tbfh.

Well, my stream was in slideshow mode, and I only had the audio to go by. If he had a rocket crow with a rail in the spare, fair enough.

Obviously the stupidity of the commentators has rubbed off on alot of people. If you all actually looked at a crow you would notice it has 4 highs, 3 launchers 1 blank.
I'll try to say this as clear as possible but...
HE HAD A RAIL IN HIS SPARE HIGH
Its quite simple and i don't understand why so many people aren't thinking before posting.

The only bad move was that it was complete and utter suicide, especially as there was no need to maintain a disruptor (hence the sensorbooster + huge orbit) ;)

there was ONE railgun on the crow, it shows up two on the actul ship because the gu nhas to cover a 360 range. If there were 4 railguns apperianing the the crow model then that would make it two.

Well you're both retarded. Each turret slots shows as two guns on every ship in the game to cover 360 degrees. Look at your own ships and then look at the match again.
3 rockets, 1 rail. Fairly standard setup.

As the more inteligent people in this thread have already pointed out, it was a valid setup with one rail. Mr Fix didn't get all his snakies in in time, BoB probably did, and chose the better setup. Kudos to BoB and Twd.
They fought well, they fought hard, they won the (virtual) coin toss at the end and came out ahead. ASCN congradulates the BoB team on their well deserved victory. And I speak for all of ASCN when I say:

I've looked at the recordings of the final match and I admit, I was wrong. There was indeed only one gun and I can only blame my mistake for it being 1.30AM local time and I had been up since 5AM, so I was extremely tired. Sorry...

tbh ASCN was expecting to see a TWD blaster ranis for the 1v1 hence is why you guys seen him in a crow/rocket setup. Pefrect ship match up for a blaster ranis but we showed up in a speed missle crow. the complete oppisite of what he was setup for.
its not that hard to see that.

And I bet you could of done a lot better then he did with absolutely no notice at all? The whole fight was a toss up long range vs short range and the outcome doesn't really matter now, both ASCN and BoB fought well in the 5v5 match so kudos to them. and as for not moving/shooting, theres the whole issue about the convo spam that both pilots got; but theres no point arguing about that as everything is done and settled now.
Just think twice before you call somebody (Mr Fix) an idiot because he is one of the finest pvp crow pilots in the game, and a loss in an alliance tournament isn't going to change that.
