No but the upkeep of hardware costs real life money. so if buying plex trough an affiliate helps keeping the upkeep of there wbesite and hardware. then that means they get money for the plex sale.

The seller itself does not sell plexes and then re-buys them for ingame isk. Oh, a TriumvirateDOT poster. Shocking. no it's not the same. they're not converting ISK to actual currency. When you buy a PLEX through their site, they get a bit of the money. They don't give you anything for it. Sommer was basically giving people extra ISK to buy a PLEX through their affiliate link.

But the person who buys it doesn't get isk from them. Most alliances have an affiliate link for plex purchases too in order to defray upkeep costs. As long as they're not paying members isk for for purchasing said plex, its not RMT. Now Russians on the other hand... We're winning the war if it says so on CAOD! -á
