Yes (could give a longer answer but that sums it up).

Blow someone up and get any items that survive the explosion. Hold them helpless and threaten them to get their ISK. No it is not considered harassment unless you want to be rude about it too.
Originally by: Ghosthowl 3. Are there ALOT of items/weapons/customs?
More than you will ever have time to train for.

This is just about the perfect game for a casual gamer. Just log in a check skills when you are busy then feel free to drop a weekend here and there to blow stuff up.

You are welcome.
Remember that specialization wins the day and will help you get on pretty much equal footing with the older dudes reasonably quickly.

1) Hell yeah 2) Yarrr! 3) Not really 4) You don't need to grind for XP. This helps a lot. However, ISK makes the world go around

YES. Best thing about EVE. Once you lose a ship it's gone forever and the guy who killed you has taken your stuff.
When I found out from my friend who raves about WoW that when you die is costs you the square root of f-all in PvP I couldn't believe how much that sucked. I then played WoW for 2 days (shame!), and I was unsurprised to be proved correct. PvP in Guild Wars, although occassionally brain-numbingly addictive whilst being punctuated by the irritating interjections of "pwnt" by 1337 p33p teenagers, also sucks balls.
Welcome to EVE. Enjoy your stay. |

the bounty system for hunting player pirates isn't working as intended. Most "bounty hunting" comes in the form of mercenaries, someone pays to have so and so killed.
You can hunt npc pirates for their bounties.

player pirates who have low enough security rating can have bounty's placed on them.
the concord billboards situated around space often show the people with the highest bountys YARR!

Bounty hunters do exist, but its a hard life to make any living from soley. Anyone u fight will want to take your bounty if u have one

That's probably the hardest career you could possibly choose in EVE. Players receive bounties on their heads only when their security status falls below -1.9. Once that happens any person can add to that bounty.
It's easy to track down a person, use locator agents, but it is incredibly hard to corner the target and kill the pod. You must kill the pod to claim the bounty.
...and yes, we do sell and deliver ammo. 425 Express Delivery is available upon request, please see Hans Gates and Marcus Grisbius regarding this option. |

There is but I hardly think you can make a living out of it, it's quite hard to get a fight with a person who doesn't want to fight, especially in empire space where you can't use mobile warp disruptors or inderdictors. -

Players can place bounties on peoples heads. Location Agents will help you find these people. Bounties Missions are gotten off the missions interface.

The big snag with bounty hunting is, if any player gets a large bounty on his head, he can create a spare jump-clone, have it killed by a buddy who collects the bounty, and share the proceeds.
Consequently, most players wouldn't waste their ISK placing a bounty on an enemy's head. Your better long-term option would be as a mercenary, who gets paid in advance to declare war on people. ________________________________________________

Bounty hunting isnt really a viable profession. However if you dont stick too closely on "bounty" and just want to blow up the bad guys and are happy with the loot they drop you can have a go. However it'll mean a lot of waiting for prey. Even more than for a pirate. Hunting requires patience.

OK right now the bounty hunter proffessiom is a bit unfinished But it seems the developers within 6 months is installing a big patch one of the small additions is a new contract system where someone can set up a bounty contract.
So get training thise skills an din 6 months time when it comes out you will be ready to embark on your new eve carrerr -----------------------------------------------

1. Yes this is a PvP hardcore game.
2. Yep you see when someone's ship blows up each item has a chance of surviving those items will be left floating around in a cargo can [and soon a wreckage model]. Also we will so be able to salvage spectial components for making RIGS.
3. Oh lord yes there is hundreds.
4.Basicallly when you are offline your skills continue to train so is ideal for those who have limited time or needs to go to work/school. -----------------------------------------------
