Hi guys. Lets say this l1 agent in corp X refers me to a L2 agent in corp Y. I have no faction rating currently to corp Y. Is it best to find a L1 agent from Y first, do missions for him and cap corp standing and only then proceed to the L2 from Y that I was originally referred to?

This is a tough question; I would say "take your pick" is probably the best advice I can offer.
I'm pretty sure Level 2 missions will boost your faction faster, but they will also tend to be harder, with larger cargo amounts and longer trips.
You could do Level 1 missions until you get the most out of that Agent - but whether or not you will actually save time with this method is questionable.

If your new lvl 2 agent have good ratings go for it. Your corp standing will go up pretty fast and the rewards will be higher.
Another way might be to continue with your current lvl 1, do a few more missions and it is highly likely you will get more feferals from him/her,
But if you dont start doing lvl 2 mission your never going to get a lvl 3. ------------------------------------------------ The sky is not the limit. Your only limited by your mind... |

This same thing happened to me with my 1st lvl 2 agent. I started working for the lvl 2 immediately, mostly out of boredom. I started with 0.0 corp faction and got my lvl 3 after mission 80. Not too bad. Actually, it turned out better than my next lvl 2 for another corp, diff faction. With that one, started with a 2.0 corp faction and it took 113 missions before she gave me a lvl 3 agent.
If I were you, I'd start working for the Lvl 2 agent. ------------------------------------
Your Light Neutron Blaster II perfectly strikes Serpentis Protector, wrecking for 231.8 damage. |

Thanks for the answers, this brings up a slightly related question... ive been doing missions for said L2 agent and my corp faction did in fact quickly rise to 2.0, but now it seems to be capped.
I thought the 2.0 cap was for L1 agents? Should this be petitioned?

2.0 is the cap for lvl 1's. for lvl 2 you should be able to progress to 4.0. If you are still doing missions and this rating is not going up. I would suggest to check and make sure you have a lvl 2 and not in fact another lvl 1.
Once confirmed, if it still wont allow you to progress I would stick in a petition and try and get an answer from them. ------------------------------------------------ The sky is not the limit. Your only limited by your mind... |
