They cost so much because 1) They pwn 2) Some tosser bought them all up and resold at a higher price which in turn pushed the prices up even higher 3) The complexes are perminatly camped - the only way you're gonna get one is to be in the system before downtime and then try and clear it as fast as possible. Ot jsut look up one of the many complex lists and save 100mil... But i thought Gistii stuff was dropped from angels deadspaces not serp? -----

Gistii have been dropping from the serp 3/10's for a year or more .. You are kinda right though, gistii should be dropping from angel plexes.

The ones that are worth doing are either claimed (in 0.0 or some of the low sec ones, particularly the hidden ones) or camped 23/7; unless you like mad rushes just after DT they're a waste of time. 0.0 ratting would earn you more.

Yeah, but it's more fun to have a SS nearby and wait for them to go in. Then you've got NPCs assisting your assault. I almost got the jump on a Ferox/Brutix pair in a 0.4 complex the other day. But before I could make my move a Megathron showed up and wiped them out.

Just like Deadspace missions (no MWD, accelleration gates, npc's etc) F10 (map) click on the "stars" tab - then somewhere near the top select "Show DED Deadspace reports" all those blobs are complex's No - anybody can do they at anytime

As for the megathron, that could be the megathron overseer at the end of the Serpentis 4/10.
