I truly hope CCP and others theyve affected can track these morons down and persecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

I mean seriously, Whut in Hellz??
At this point I'm firmly convinced that some Twitter handle was torqued at some other Twitter handle about some former member of one gaming group joining another rival group, this other Twitter handle seeing a moment and going for it with bots and scripts, that got some other Twitter handle involved, that someone hacked someone else and sent the bomb threat, and of all groups now Anon. is popping out IP info to all and sundry while Forbes and MailUK is now posting about this and the damned FBI is involved.
Either that or Mulder was right in those first 4 seasons.
And to end all of it involves sharpies, foreheads, and selfies?
Of all the outright insanity going on in the last few months around the world, this is what the gamers and script kids and hackers do to amuse themselves? Who high altitude sprayed the world with some seriously mind twisting drugs? I mean yeah, I'm nuttier than a fruitcake but even I can find better ways to waste my time without causing mass upset and getting federal agencies involved.
My Skills are set for a few days, think it's about time to give toenail clipping 3D art a good honest try. The worst that'll happen is I glue my finger tips together. |

But in seriousness, I guess the people behind lizardsquad are very young, thinking they are The Man after they brought down a few big sites with DDOS attacks without apparantly no consequences to them.
So they decided to take it a step further, and now they're about to get all the attention they'll ever need & realize that there's a thing like too much attention!
I can't feel sympathy for groups like Lizardsquad. In the end, they don't hurt the Management of such companies. The only people they harm are the hard working people, those who do their best to keep the servers running. Those guys are going to face hardship from managers who don't really udnerstand how it works, believing those hardworking folks screwed up, even tho they couldn't do much against a DDOS attack with the tools they get from management....

It's funny how these "1337 groups" with all their knowledge and skillz don't seem to realise that they're actually going to get 15-60 years in a federal prison and a life ban on computers when they get caught, not a few months of easy community service in an open penitentiary.
In this age of terrorism any kind of threat or attack towards national infrastructure (including electronic) is an offence that is going to land you serious consequences. I cannot fathom why anyone would make these kinds of threats unless they really really want to get put away for a long time.
I have no sympathy for these guys when they do get caught. They've escalated into mocking the grave situation with the Islamic State and essentially spreading fear amongst innocent people because they think it's funny. |

Would much rather somone just broke their fingers then once healed break them again. Treat there fingers like a server every time they back up and running ddos them back offline. |

I feel almost sorry for them actually. The storm coming their way...
Kids playing at being leet hackers (cos using a DDOS botnet is super difficult) and pretty much pissing off a lot of people.
When you **** off the FBI and Anonymous, you're going to get all the attention you sought, followed by a proper spanking in court.
The feds really don't have a sense of humour when it comes to airline terrorism threats. Neither do grown up big boy hackers when you start claiming their work as your own. |
