Ok so looking for a change of pace from mini BS's and thinking about grabbing a rattlesnake my drone skills are decent but no T2 sentry yet. I am wondering if you guys have a nice fit that can do patrols or hordes up close and personal while using a gecko while I train sentry up?
Is the Rattlesnake tank enough to handle a horde up close that a lot of spike damage if things pop weird. I can use t2 cruise launchers. Or I could just grab a navy scorp for little bit more money as I know the tank on those things are pretty beast. Would love to use a vargur but bastion mode in null sec doesnt sound like a very good idea. |

the rattlesnake is extremely powerful and very underated for its cost.. $500 mil for hull
My rattle running level 4 missions ( as something to do)
1602 dps
167,000+ effective HP and thats without boosting my Large Gist type shield booster for 9 1/2 minutes :)
I use tech 2
Sentries
Ogres
Hammerheads
Hobgoblins
In drone bay
Highs: I don't use the cruise missles, i get more dps and more benefits from using RHML x5 insanely powerful on a rattlesnake when using Kin/Therm missles :)
just shield tank it, add your ballistic control units/drone damage amps and smack everything, i never go below around 94% shield passively!

not posting where i run missions, this post is about a player wanting to know about a Rattlesnake
and yes I use Rapid Heavy Missle Launcher II
with T2 High Damage missles i get 46k/m range, with T1 variants i get 58k/m
Put my implants in for flight time and velocity can hit roughtly about 65k/m
anything outside this range is taken care of by Bouncer II's
the Drones by far do more dps so usually only use missle volleys on cruiser size ships.
