To whom it may concern:
I'm a young veteran pilot that has been inactive for about a month..... I made a trial toon because I've been missing eve so much.
Without going into too much detail I've recently run into some debt / minor legal problems and even my subscription is not a priority right now.
My main's name is Teccmo, a veteran of FE, RA and many ventures throughout the galaxy, I'm not just expecting anyones trust, so feel free to convo me on my trial account (Salutatious) and get to know me.
What I'm asking is for someone to transfer enough isk for a 30 day time card to Salutatious so I can reactivate my main. I can't remember the exact amount of isk I have but its over 100 mil with hundreds of millions more in assets, this is no scam, and if you need confirmation of my assets I can direct you to my ceo, other friends as to my trustworthiness. If anyone is willing I will return more isk than the cost of the timecard and work out the details of what can be done.
PLZ help an eve-addict get back into his universe!!

has anyone seen the similarity of this to something we all love to hate that shows up every single time in our email inboxes/junkmail folders from a certain African nation? -

This is true. You should always walk a mile in the other person shoes before you judge them.
At least then, if you decide they don't deserve your help, you are a mile away from them, and you have their shoes.

Don't like LV tho, hopefully will blasting away at them again sooner rather than later ... Yea I don't really care though, cause I'm not a bum, I've always had a job, and sorry to say for you sheltered folks that not everything gets handed to you on a silver platter, $H!T happens. No one hesitates to play the lottery when your chances of winning are bout zero, but a guy offers to pay back a quick loan and he gets his ass chewed out. Nice.

Im almost positive your not trying to scam anyone. If I didnt think you need a long break away from EVE, I would give you the money myself.

Might *REALLY* think about taking your own advice before dishing it out to other ppl who *YOU* see as having the problem.
You cant afford to play EVE at the moment, you dont play. Deal with that, dont cook up some half baked idea and pitch it to total strangers and expect them to somehow feel your pain.
Not dissing you, hope you get back into EVE soon, but really, this is your problem, not anyone elses.

off topic a bit always keep a buffer of ISK in youre account esp if youre a vet of 500-600m ISK that way u can easily buy a GTC if needs persist.

I was an eve addict for around a year and a half, just wait untill ccp does nothing after you loose 2bill to an exploit, then you realise that eve is not all that.
Customer service in this game is the worst i have ever seen.

Edited by: Salutatious on 26/07/2006 20:42:49 The title was just a title, anyone that actually thinks that playing a game in your spare time is an addiction is the one that needs therapy, in real life im out busting my butt to get back on my feet, my fault for still wanting to do something intellectual and fun when I'm not doing something else. And to be honest, I can dish it out, I've taken more than you know. How is buying a timecard a half baked idea? Thanks for the people that posted that aren't so narrowminded as to think they know my situation.

Salutatious, the reason why people are getting on your case is because this is the wrong place to ask for money. First of all, don't you have friends or family that can you spare you such a small amount?
Second of all, don't you DARE guilt trip us. Everyone has problems, some more than others. Furtheremore, you said you are from U.S. Maybe you had a rough life relative to an American, but you're still in the U.S. Many families in developing nations are happy just be alive and have food, they could care less for a stupid video game. So don't you give us this "you weren't in my shoes" crap. You've never been in MY shoes or anyone elses shoes either.
Dude, you have enough money to own a computer to play EVE, you are doing better than half the people living in the world. I think you need help from addiction more than you need money.

Maybe thats why I'm sponsering a child from Sierra Leone, I'm not guilt tripping anyone, and I don't like to take handouts, this whole thing was not about life, it's about eve, now I'm looking like some type of villian for offering someone a 30 million isk profit for a simple loan, GET A LIFE!

No reasons to ask in the forums, get it from the in-game pilots that you know from being a veteran.
