The issue is time zones. It always has been. I'm not sure how much of a fight you'll get out of current Amarr EU TZ and the majority of US TZ is currently vacationing in the alps.

I think we were under the impression that Terpene lived there. If it's not defended we could always use it to stage for Siseide if we wanted? As Major said it's just a content generator, we will be there in ships and if you want you can come bring ships and fight us. What's not to like? xx |

Try thinking about this in terms of a date. We're a sure fire thing. No need to take us out and show us a good time, buy us flowers or a nice meal. Right now you're telling us you don't want to play, we're not interesting enough for you. In seriousness we fight you guys quite a lot. Just not in Amma. As long as your not in T3s and above you'll usually get a fight out of us in a small-medium gang. |

At 2359 hrs Thursday 4th September a 'Reality check' will be carried out.
1. If the system is below 50% contested. The campaign will be deemed a success and Minmatar forces will withdraw.
2. If the system is above 75% contested. The campaign will be deemed a failure and we will change the goalposts to system contestation. The operation will be extended for a further 24 hours or until Auga is flipped, which ever comes first.
3. If the system is between 50% - 75% contested. The operation may be extended for a futher 24 hours, at the OPs discretion.
If the operation is extended for 24 hours, but fails to flip Auga in that time, fighting will cease at the latest by Friday 5th September, 2359 hrs.
In before Shadow Cartel piles into Auga to ruin you fun :p

1) We can't seige Egglehende as you well know its not in FW space. So we dont have the option to plex fight in the Amarr fortress system. It is simple.
2) A director of the corp that has washed out of 3/4 militias accusing anyone of a cop out is ironic and amusing.
3) Come and fight, the Talwar market might have recovered from Burn Huola by now...the aim is good fights.

to respond within the same context i only few the sentinel once or twice in the whole huola week. Sieging huola and flying solo is not comparable. If i solo in the sentinel i expect to fight outnumbered. Try doing this a while and you will quickly notice that its a bad idea to fight at the plex at warpin with a ship like the sentinel.
Also bringing a few atrons to a different warzone to get on mails in arcade mode without even caring about system control is a form of "showing up" but irrelevant to the discussion if we are talking about docking rights as conflict driver. Its like being on ingame vacation.

This thread however is like a wish that someone would magically show up when an almost empty system is contested. If this was the intention i would call it RvB fleet or consensual pvp event but don't try to set it up as huola 2.0.

Well last night was fun. Some good fights, some scrappy grinds.
Were some lol moments; The Amarr taking out a blue booster, Bio Phantasm forgetting docking mechanics, taking a perfect fleet warp with old Amarr bros, derping my 'ceptor into a cerb forgetting my boosts were in another system.
From what I saw everyone was pretty chill, local was well humoured. Some 3rd parties joined in, went home in pods.
GF Amarr. Hope for more of the same tonight. |
