Hello,
I bought Thrasher (minimatar destroyer), and it basicly got destroyed about 3 times already. Should i just get a frigate, are frigates better?
Anyways Im just tired of loosing money

Have you flown a frigate before? I'm assuming that you haven't. You need to step down to a frigate and learn its nuances before stepping up to a destroyer. A T1 frigate can help you master the limitations of ships and various setups. also remember to insure your ship before leaving the station. This helps to recover some of the money you put into your ship if your ship is destroyed.

Yes, I had frigate before, but it was dif char and dif race.

You haven't given much details as to what you're trying to do, so hard to answer the question.
In general, yes I find frigates(the entire class) to be more versatile and better than destroyers. There are things destroyers are good for. But for the general "hello I'm new to the game--what should I fly?", the answer is frigates. You'll find that climbing into bigger ships doesn't automagically make you stronger in this game. The destroyer is a fine example of that concept.
The note about you flying a different race frigate, but now you are flying minmatar destroyer is a bit troubling. Was this a rerolled character or on the same character?
