Whats the advantage of having a 10.0 standing with an agent, will it give you any kind of special bonus or something?

Your missions get harder and with bigger rats..... (well, that has to do with acting standing not standing towards agent... but oh well).
But no, you dont get anything special from your agent.

Agent standing has an effect on its effective standing, thus the level of payout/bonus/lp you can get.

Since it's impossible to actually reach - nothing.
The rounded-off figure in your info window might register 10.00, if you've got to 9.99643 or some such. But you can't ever reach ten.

I have reached 10 in standing with Federal int office and with my agent there.
Have not noticed any "new" or diffrent missions.

I hear standings with NPC corps affect refinery take. So if you had 10 standing they wouldn't take anything if you refined there.

I am pretty sure you need a lot less than 10 to get a 0% tax on refining...I believe it is around 5.0 w/ corp
and it is possible to hit..not just a rounded up 10.

Standing changes are expressed as a percentage of the difference between current standings and +10 when gaining standings or -10 when losing them. Therefore, it should be impossible to achieve 10.0 standing except for it being rounded up by the UI.

My understanding is that as your standing with an agent improves, the effective quality of that agent (for you) also improves and thereby increases the mission reward/bonus payments and the number of LP's earned. Since this doesn't change the level of the agent, the missions shouldn't become harder. Is that right?

Past a standing of 6.65~ the refinery wont tax you anymore. But this uses your standing to the NPC corp, and not to the agent.
Standing to the agent merely improves the effective quality.

That is right; however, some people have speculated that a higher EQ means you get the more difficult missions for that level, more often.

so lets asssume u get youre standing with that agent up - i err on the side of some missions are harder but not all the higher youre EQ goes up but the rewards to increase

For what it's worth, I have an agent at 9.9 right now, and his missions are as easy as they were back when he was 7.8. (Level 4, quality 17 agent)

Yeah, same with me.
Lvl 4, quality 18 agent with standing of 9.6 whose effective quality is 48.

Yea iv been noticing a better bonus(just the bonus not the normal payment) as the standing increases, also im getting some interesting messages from an agent when i complete his mission, messages such as "Again you finish the job in time keep this up and i might get a promotion"
Are you all sure you dont recieve anything after reaching 10.0 standing with an agent i mean after all that effort youve put.
Cause if so its better to just quit and try some other type of missions.
