Why did you fit the MWD on the scanner setup? Can you use one while cloaked? ---

I havent used one in a while but I use to use Probe + Cloak in high, mids would be a combination of Cap rechargers/battery and lows would be Nanos. This allows for long warping distances when having to move quickly around systems/regions. Some people fit tackling gear but I try to avoid combat like the plague when in a Covert Ops.

Don't waste your time with an anathema. Either go for helios if you want part-time low-skill covops'ing or go cheetah. Buzzard if you really don't want to train anything else, it's almost (and maybe more) crap than the anathema but it can be suicidally fitted for people that think that covops are ceptors (good for 0.0 group hunting though).

The anathema is the worst covert EVER.
For a nice setup you need to fill yourself up with co-pro II's and even then you're gonna be using a crap setup due to almost no cpu. --------------------------------------

Well...what's a good setup then for ANY of the covops? What do you need other than the probe launcher and the cloaking device in order to go scan for someone, warp to them, and have your friends warp at the correct range?
Are you guys using these ships as tacklers or something? My original question was what the heck do you put in your midslots/lowslots after the cloak and probe launcher are on =P ---

once you have the cloak and probe launcher fitted you can leave the rest empty, i think that's why people come up with secondary jobs for their covops like ewar or tackling.
a helios for example can fit and use two sensor damps with only covops 4 (needs 3 co-procs though), which might be handy for helping your gang out in the actual fighting part.
nanofibers, or possibly even overdrives, do seem like a good idea for pure stealth work.

Edited by: BlackHorizon on 27/07/2006 02:08:50 There's two ways to play the anathema: probes or "mini-falcon".
With fitting probes, the anathema is not very good. Infact, it's probably the worst cov-ops frig for probing. But that's not where the anathema shines...
The anathema is the best EW cov ops frig. It has the best cap, it can armor tank better than the helios, and it has a launcher slot. I won't reveal my setup, but think "mini-falcon" with damps/TDs.
