Well, It looks like the time has come to wrap it up once and for all.
I can't discuss the reason why. I'm sure you can all guess, But the joke has become stale and I don't seem to have the creativity that I once had.
It's been a lot of fun writing it and the in-game actions have often been hysterical, my personal favourite was losing a 1v1 duel, Bandits Reaper versus a BoB warrior 1 drone.
The MGRL corporation itself won't be disbanding, Bandit will remain the figurehead and I've appointed directors with instructions to continue accepting all suitable applications, keep your spots safe and your eyes on local.
Many thanks to the people who made it possible, members of MGRL, 'enemies' of MGRL, kind donors to MGRL who made the alliance wardecs possible and people who added to Bandits bio with 'memorable' quotes. In no particular order, they are:

Thanks also to the people who the MGRL have fought: Finite Horizon, Stain- Alliance, Exile, Band of Brothers, Outbreak. (Yes I did wardec my own corp. Twice)
As to where the MGRL came from, I was bored a while back and thought I'd create a new character. When I came to design the face, I hit randomise a few times and it came out with the campest face I think I've ever seen. And so it began.
So farewell, Backdoor Bandit. It's been a blast. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did and sincere apologies to anyone who was offended, I assure you no insult was intended.
For those who are interested, a list of (most) MGRL action threads are linked in Backdoor Bandits bio. The 'Blue Oyster Bar' in-game channel will remain open for the slightly scary people who still inhabit it.

It's a shame to see the end of this, it was pure comedy. Loved it ever since I first got to learn about it, and always enjoyed listening to the stories.
I will never forget the amount of turmoil MGRL causes whenever they enter the scene, I can remember gang channels flooding with OMG the MGRL is here!, it was like any significant event was not complete without you guys showing up.

Everytime i saw you in local it made me laugh, your bio had some funny stuff in and the in charcter jokes always made me chuckle, hell im chuckling a little now thinking about it

We maintain a close bond with all members and whilst not all of or companions are minmatar in origin, we would like to feel that we are able to reach out and touch a wider group by not limiting oursleves to the supremely virile minmatar boys.
