Dear Eve Players.
Press Release from Space Invaders.
Just a few minutes the Joint Fleet task force of Space Invaders and Zombie inc. engaged 2 battleships from the capitalist pig company, Spinewarp Inc or SWARP. With superiour firepower and tactics this Joint fleet task force annihilated a Scorpion and a Tempest that were sitting outside a station in the system this fleet is currently holding. The pilots of the damned ships cried for help while the sounds of death danced around their vessels. The slaughter only took a few minutes and when the artilleries and Laser cannons were silent the only evidence of the combat there, were the mangled debries of the ships.
These pirates intended on ambushing innocent people outside the station and for that they were executed. Space Invaders and Zombie hopes that this will bring peace to this troubled system. Any retaliation from this puny pirates will be met with the utmost brutality.

...whoah! wait a minute... that would mean that SI left a gate... is that possible? Do you guys know what to do when you're more than 50kms from a gate?

I've flown past some Zombie fellas before. Chatted it up a bit in local, and they didn't fire on me.

SI arent that agressive when you're in a ship of equal stregnth. Flew right by one of your men in auro, all he did was ask me where my corp name came from. So much for the ruthless pirates of SI

That's very funny :-).
It is good for us if opponents think we are only able to camp gates. History has proved such people wrong often enough.

If only you could see the video footage I captured with this last one, lol. Gang warped while they camped a station....I almost "cookie monstered" my bag of chips. Two battleships in 2 min 21 seconds including gang warp time to target.
It was an orchestra with everyone playing their specific instruments, pure poetry in motion.

You really did catch us off guard on that one, I have to admit. Very efficient. 
I do, however, feel it nesassary to point out a few inaccuracies in your account.
1) We weren't blockading the station. We didn't fire on or try to lock anyone that docked or undocked - in fact - the only ships that passed the entire time I was outside the station were SI and Zombie members. No hostile actions were taken.
2) We're not pirates, quite the opposite, infact. I think you probably got confused as my corp mate, "Raith" has a -ve sec status (which was attained a couple of nights ago fighting Biomass in a 0.4).
3) We didn't say ANYTHING on local. So I don't know what "pilots of the damned ships cried for help" is all about!
The reason for our presence was just to "scope" out the system - get an idea of the comings and goings of the place in preparation of potential future hosilities against SI or Zombie. Which as of last night became definate...
