For starters I just want to say to people complaining for one reason or the other about the new ships, or debating the usefullness about said ships get over it. I mean come on, are we honestly forgetting that every ship out there is completely dependent upon the person flying it, the setup being used, and of course skill points. CCP does this job for a living. We simply enjoy what they give us, and I trust that these ships are well balanced, and depending on the setup and situation any one of these ships could defeat their counterparts in other races. No one ship or high slot attacking weapon type is better then the other.
Now after say that I just want to bring to the front that two years ago I said to the forums that if there was ever a tier 3 battleship for Caldari it would be a sort of big brother to the Moa. I mean come on, the scorpion is the big brother for the blackbird, the raven is the big brother to the caracal, and as everyone can see, the Rokh is the big brother to the Moa. Just check out the bonuses, perfect match. lol so to everyone who mocked me HAHAHAHAH!! I was right!!! HAHAHAHA lol.
And for a further note, I was an original Moa pilot from the old days before Battleships were running all over the place who was praying for a railgun platform battleship for the caldari. So I trained up all the hybrid skills well above my missile skills. I had all the hybrud turret skills to level 5 a full 6 months before tech 2 was ever heard of even though this dream ship of mine hadnt even been talked about yet. So after three years of Eve, I can finally say that I have arrived. The ship that my skills have been specifically designed to pilot is finally comming out and I am completely phsyced. Thank you so much CCP I love you.
Oh and if one of your tier three battleships gets taken down by my Rohk please dont come crying to the forums about how good caldari ships are. Its just me, my setup, and of course the 3 years of skills Ive put into it. :) see you in space ladies and gentleman

bwahahahahahaha Not everything is perfectly balanced: CCP are devs, not Gods. If you can find any game with perfect balance, I will officially award you a cookie.
If the Rokh was a ****-poor monstrosity, rather than the WTFPWN monstrosity it is now, would you still be posting this?

if the Rokh was left exactly how it was right now and every other tier three bs was given their tech two bonuses like HACS I would STILL be posting this. I dont think you realize how much I want a rail platform bs lol.

Starcraft was perfectly balanced on only one of it's maps. (lost tempel.) But yeah that game had a pretty damn good balance all around. (but only perfect on LT) _________________________________________________________

Damn! Jenny always steals our cookies
Despite the Lost Temple comment (I dont like that map really, no chance of rushing, so the begining is very predictable), I still think SC has perfect balance not cause all 3 races have the same units that can do the same stuff (which EVE is turning into, slowly) but cause each race was unique in its abilities yet still no one could claim zerg, terran or protoss were overpowered.

Edited by: Andrea Jaruwalski on 28/07/2006 09:57:48 I was actually expecting something that wasn't related to Tier 3 battleships in this topic... Geez, original

In chess, tic tac toe and connect 4 someone has the first turn and this has been statistically shown to have an effect on the outcome of the game...

Actually this makes any decent difference only to all these tic tac toe and connect 4 and so on (tbh, I'm very confused seeing ppl compare them with chess. That's ridiculous). In chess game there are lots of possibilities for both sides. As for me, in tournaments I usually earn even more points playing black, not white idk why Also, you can't make a turn-based game with players making moves simultaneously

tic tac toe, if person that makes first move knows what he's doing he cant loose -_-
pick a corner, pick opposite corner if other player doesnt take that corner, if he does pick any other corner, 3d move pick 3d corner and you won ...
