Ok so cruising around Lonetrek in my BB I get a call from one of our Noobs in a frigate saying he just got ship killed by a Megathoron in Passari.
Thinking that the Mega would be long gone b4 I got anywhere near him myself and another BB warped to his last known location with little hope of discovering him.
Despite this we warp in and he is sitting there like he is Mr Big after just shooting down a noob.
So 2 of us lock him up and he spends the next 2 minutes enjoying salvos of Torps / Cruise missiles before his Mega finally explodes and he runs off to get HIS noob ship  .
Unsurprisingly local went very quiet and there was no response to my Eve Mails.

lol in the can that our poor frigate left after it exploded, I found... a basic miner! What a local hero, sneaks up on the newb and blasts him in his megathron. Then he goes all around forums yapping "I shot a pirate". Well not tonight

LOL - I hope that he just got his ship and it wasn't insured so he has to spend another 2 weeks mining to replace it!!!

im sure if he got his drones out, it would have been a different story .

Yea well if he had drones, we'd have to think something out, and he could get a chance to warp away.

THe guy had 450 rails as I found them in his can after it exploded. He was also carrying drones as we got several heavies as loot - quite why he didn't use them totlly escapes me.
Even if someone has drones all is not lost - it just makes things abit harder :).
