Would it be an idea to create a new forum for selling and trading characters, game time cards and other out of game services?
Looking at the Sell forum it's dominated by these things and is almost useless to someone wanting to use it for in game items. |

Well, they're supposed to be in the sell forum... so what's the point?

I never even look at the sell forums anymore, it's impossible to find any real in-game items for sale with all the GTC and Character Sale spam...

Character sales are not as bad as GTC sales but overall they do swamp the forum.
Problem is if you say there are two sales forums one for GTC / characters and one for everything else then your going to need one forum moderator permenantly patrolling the "other stuff forum" to delete ythe GTC / char sales as you know they're going to turn up in there all the time.

I agree with this. Not just because it's nice to sort through categories, but it's a heavily used forum. In most MMO's, trade forums move slowly ( since they are split by server). Since ours moves at near light speed ( average 10 pages per day?), it makes sense to break it up slightly.
1) A special forum for chars and GTCs, as these are both non-scammable-allowed items.
2) Forum for IPO offerings, share sales, stock split offerings, and Share/dividend reports.
3) Everything else. If this still moves at 10 pages a day ( as more people might use it without all the sorting to go through), maybe ships can be split out. I'd be against splitting forums by region. We have ingame trade channels with everything split into 6 channels. I'd say last resort though, and only if the forums still move too fast.
