I sit and read these forums day in day out at work, and never have I seen such a childish attitude as I have witnessed from the goons. Its unreal.
I was impartial at one point, even though i was in D2 for a brief time, but now I hope you get wiped from this "space shooty online e-peen wave fest" or whatever the hell you like to refer to it as.
BoB whorum the forums better than most, but hell, you guys have taken the stupid approach to a new extreme.
You are really fond of sayiny no one appreciates your sense of "humour" other than people on SA forums, do many people a favour and keep it there.

Trying to compare themself to Powerhouse Alliances that been around longer then a couple months. Any Publicity is good publicity, even crappy ones. GS don't have the power, only numbers cause Massive-Lag and fill Killboards.

I wish to tear the Goonfleet insigna from my breast, but I feel I must wear it to remind me of the great shame I have caused myself and the pain I have caused others.

My honest opinion (as a member of GoonSwarm but a non-goon in the sense of the word) is that the past few days have been terrible publicity for GoonSwarm. GoonSwarm has indeed offended many people in the EVE community. However, as far as hurting themselves politically, while not a good move, this isn't that terrible. GoonSwarm recruits from SA so it's not like they're worried about offending recruits. BoB has decided to declare a crusade upon GoonSwarm. So what? Unlike most of the EVE community, GoonSwarm isn't scared of BoB. We'll fight them all day, everyday, for the next year. Whatever, we're here to have fun and any and all combat is fun for us.
However, this whole debacle has also brought much negative publicity to BoB. This has revealed, to the EVE community, the false righteousness and hypocracy that BoB stands for. In the long run, I believe that this will hurt BoB far more than it will hurt GoonSwarm. They can fight us in Syndicate and Cloud Ring until every last member of GoonSwarm runs out of ISK. But this is going to take a vast amount of manpower, so much so that it will leave BoB open to anyone who can grow a pair and do something and attack BoB space.
Mark this moment in EVE my friends. This is where the BoB Empire started to fall.

Ever since the ban was lifted for Goons to post freely on these forums, you've kept on shooting yourselves in the proverbial foot. Every opportunity you were given to **** up, you nailed it.
In the span of a couple of weeks, you've managed to alienate a considerable portion of the EvE community, and to create a consensus ideal where everyone wants you to get the **** kicked out of - something noone managed thus far, not even ebil BoB.
