It rather bugs me that I get a lot of slaves as incidental drops in various missions. For a variety of reasons, it would be nice to be able to make them into not-slaves. Maybe require a small fee, or some vitoc, or something similar.
Granted I could trash them and make believe that they were freed, but that seems like a cop out to me.
I'm just tired of having a bunch of slaves in my hangar that I have to pretend are free, but I'm unable to move them.

You sometimes get offers from Minmatar agents to hand in MANY slaves in exchange for 90% back in freed slaves, ecoterrorists, exotic dancers, marines, science graduates, homeless, Khameiras, Janitors, ...
With MANY I mean 6k LP, 900 Slaves ...
I could not find out what happens to the last 10% though. It might have to do with certain drugs my agents regularly ask me about. --*=*=*--

Last time I checked, slavery wasn't legal in Caldari space. --*=*=*--

Do what I do with slaves. Organise them into different containers. Jet can and torpedo them. See if you can pop six cans in one volley. A torp to each can. ---------------- RecruitMe@NOINT!

I had an idea about that, but it would prolly mean some programming done and i don't think ccp can be bothered with that right now.
So the idea is this:
If u get slaves (either by buying or missions or whatever) u can rightclick them and this gives u the option to 'hand over to the state' depending on where u are this will have several consequences.
In Gall/mini space, by releasing slaves to the state this will mean freedom for them, u get a standing increase from gall/mini but a standing decrease from caldari/amarr, in amarr/caldari space it will be reverse, releasing slaves to the state will mean they will fall back to the slave pool and u will get a standing increase from amarr/caldari and a decrease from gall/mini. Banner will be updated shortly |

Oracle Corp used to make this request quite often (back when they were still around). Minmatar roleplayers have been asking for this seemingly extremely easy feature forever, and CCP still hasnt gotten around to it yet. I wouldn't put much hope it it being added now.
That said, theres about 50,000 other things I'd rather see CCP spend their time on then programming special buttons to free (or beat) slaves.
