is it just me or does the Rokh seem to be like a big ferox? look at the suggested bonuses: 5% to shield resists per lvl and 10% range to hybrids per lvl. why cant it get a damage bonus like all of the other BS's? mabye 7.5% bonus to hybird dammage per level?

because the ship has the bonuses it needs to do it's job. and with 8 turret slots it will do plenty damage anyway.

A big moa, a big merlin, a big ferox. Yes. Same progression.
As for the bonuses, remember it has 8 turrets, unlike anything with a damage bonus (except the new Abaddon, and god only knows if they will manage to balance that).
7.5% damage per level would be absolutely ridiculous. Do you have any concept of balance at all?

And could it be that the Maelstrom is a big Cyclone, with its 7.5% shield boosting bonus and 5% turret rof bonus? Gosh!
Could it also be that the reason the Rokh isn't getting a damage bonus is because virtually every Caldari T1 railship gets an optimal range and shield resistance bonus? Maybe!
Would 8 turrets and a damage bonus make the Megathron even more obsolete than it will be when this ship is released? Quite possibly!

Merlin: 2/2 for 4 Hi¦s. 2 non turret highs. Less turrets than the other races respective frig
Moa: 4/2 for 6 Hi¦s. 2 non turret highs. Less turrets than the other races respective cruiser excepting minmatar wich has two dmg bonuses to compensate.
Ferox: 5/5 for 7 Hi¦s. 2 non turret highs. Less turrets than the other races BC¦s excepting Minmatar who has one dmg bonus.
Rokh: 8/? for 8 hi¦s. Full turret complement. On par or above numbers-wise with all other BS and more turrets than it¦s main competitor the Megathron wich has a damage bonus to compensate.
Bonuses are all the same but unlike the other ships in the progression it looks like it can actually do some damage. Seems fine to me.

All I can say is  . You get the strongest fleet sniper in the game and you want to make it better.

Note that the damage bonus on the Minmatar ships you mentioned are not to balance the low number of turret spots, but to balance the naturally poor DPS of projectiles.

Aye I know. Propably shouldn¦t have included it seeing as the comparison is mainly caldari but it snuck into my train of thought and demanded a spongebath. Never refuse a spongebath to ppl who fly jagged rusty clotheshangers and wear raybans in their pods.

look at all the caldari bonuses. Caldari even in lore typicaly do not use Blasters, but use rails. this allows them to stay out of range and to be better long range weapon users. it only makes sense. I mean i love the ferox to death, especially since i made my Railrox I do more dps than i was doing with my passive Missleox.
The Rokh will be a devestating long range BS and just the right thing the Caldari have been missing.

Ahh, gotcha. The devblog didn¦t give an exact number iirc and I couldn¦t care less about launcher points myself so I didn¦t bother to check closer.

Yes, and given the oh so awesome grid/cpu caldari ships get, I bet it'll only take 1 RCU II and 2 Co-pros to fit 425 IIs and some sort of tank.
