eg. avg price of 1400mm II 7,5mil
60mil to just for the guns

Or you could go back to before tech II guns, and pay 45m for each 'Scout' 1400mm. That's 360m right there.
360m vs. 60m...yes, I can see that it's expensive nowadays.

He's go a point, prices for large T2 turrets have increased substantially over the past months.
More people using large T2 turrets > prices go up
PS: I wish I had bought a 1400mm II BPO / 425mm II BPO a few months back

Part of it is the problems with lazers ingame. This has lead many Amarr to fit artys as a solution, hence increasing demand. Most wep systems sell predominantly to one race, but the artys are going to more like one and a half races. If CCP ever gets around to fixing them, artys will most likely decrease and tech II lazers will see an increase in price to rough equivelency with other tech II wep systems.
Even myself having stubbornly kept using Amarrs primary wep, have picked up the projectile books in case the Abaddon carrier suggestion doesn't work. That thing just won't work with lazers any way that I add it up. I'll train them soon as my tech 2 drone skills are done.

What are scout 1400's running atm? The last time I checked they were significantly higher than T2's. Sure it is a high cost, but then if you buy a ship then one would assume one can afford to fit it with decent modules.
