We need stabber to be fixed. That 1 lowslot needs to be a medslot.
WHY?
Because now only way to make anykind of tank at all to stabber is to fit 800mm plate and a small repper. Using plate totally gimps the main bonus why people fly stabber, speed.
Making that lowslot a medslot would give some difference to cruiser class minmatar ship tanking. CCP gave stabber exeptionally good cpu, but forgot that armor tank doesnt need it.
So making that 1 low-slot a medslot we would see alot more people flying the stabbers.
Maybe reducing the CPU just a little bit will avoid creating the "Stab'a'Stabber" but too much gimping is just bad. Reducing grid would force people to fit RCU's so stabs are impossible so slap on.
Or maybe people want/need just that. Stabs are not only for caldari 
Any thoughts about my idea? Flame if you really want to, but constructive comments are apriciated.

yes stabber needs an extra mid, maybe 2 and remove a low. 5th turret instead of 4

2 medslots would be overpowered, but making 1 more turretslot while removing 1 lowslot and adding that medslot makes people fit 2x RCU so they can fit 5x 220mm's and 2x Large shield extenders.

do you people even think about the changes other than how uber it would make them?
stabber is fine, rupture & varients need some tweaking, that is all.

Yes and no.
For the OP.
Looking at the tec 2 and the fleet issue there is a distinct differance. m/l layout of 3/3 for the stabber and 4/5 for the fleet en vaga.
Adding one low would make much more sence then adding a mid. Btw, also removing a low for something else, TOTALLY gimps the ship for close range combat.
The addition of a possible 4th low would give the ship more resiliance* in close range and med range arty platform. A 4th med is less necesarry tbh.

Anyone know where TomB moved the slap function, I seem to have missplaced it.
On a more serious note, Stabbers are not tankers, they're fast gankers (Damage mods take a lot of CPU). Though if you think the Stabber is inefficient at running a armor tank due to lack of PG, maybe instead you should petition to have it's PG increased.

I'd like to see it get an extra mid just to seperate it from the Rupture.
We're getting a new shield tanked BS, our BC is a shield tanker, wheres the cruiser shield tanker?

6/4/4 should be very fine. Stabber is NOT for tanking, its an oversized tackler.

stabber owns. it warps faster then a lot of frigates (trust me, iv gang warped faster then kestrels/incursus) its crazy fast, its bigger cap means it doesent succomb to nossing as easily, it has the cap to sustain 20km scramming
Its a wicked big assed frigate.

Nah it's fine now and probably the most fun outta the t1 cruisers to fly I think. I like to use it in gangs for killin bb's. Mwd over couple volleys med out. Good stuff.

Stabber is fine as it is.
You can't get a full tank on it.
You can't make it a gankmachine.
You just need a bit of piloting skills to get it to work. It is a unique ship and i want it to stay that way.

It's fine as it is really. It has massive CPU and grid issues with fitting, well, anything, but since nanofibers are so awesome on it it's workable. Also, it's a lower tier ship, so not much of an issue afterall.

Up to this thread I've never thought about putting stabbs on a Stabber. Being quite a cheap ship you would lose what ... 2 mil max.

Stabber warrants the use of the word "Fantabulous." Sure, both it and its brother the Rupture are armor tanked, which I *hate*, being a Caldari traitor and thus having shield tank skills out the ass. But the stabber is a unique, fun experience to fly, much different that any other cruiser, and I <3 mine. Well... I'll <3 it again when I finish building a new one.
