To be honest were not missing anything. E3 was only good for those attending. For the rest of us we recieve a few weeks of downloding movies of new games from the most annoying download sites.
We will still get all the information we need, Still get all the movies etc.
So i for one will not be hanging myself from the rafters over it. It seems that the only good thing L.A. had going for it is gone. Forgive me for not shedding any tears.
Besides E3 is about 50% bull**** 45% exagerated claims of grandeur and 5% of surprise and excitement. And that's a scientific fact.

Edited by: keepiru on 02/08/2006 10:51:51 With the effect E3 has on game development schedules - you spend weeks rushing up a working demo and then weeks after E3 fixing the bugs you made while whacking up the demo - I'm glad its gone, tbh.
I always hated the "E3 milestone" with a passion, as much as I loved seeeing all the new game stuffs ----------------

I'm glad it's gone since it just means that developers and publishers can save some money.
It's much more economically feasible to attend a smaller trade show, or to just advertise a game using traditional means. The internet and a few magazines are all you really need these days to get the a game out into the public.

With some of the stands cost 12 mil just for floor space i can see why they would want to go else where. ----------------------------------------------

Be nice if they moved it to europe tbfh. tho tbh prefer european games companies mostly anyways.
American games generally are sports related which i hate with a passion. Tho they do bring out alot of FPS games *no suprise there* lol
Eastern generally RPG with magical floating people and big eyes.
Europe - strategy and well eve ;)
this is the sterotype ofc and yea i know iceland aint 'europe' meh... --------------------------------------------------------
