we all seen the post on swat and i went to the channel. and i found a group of people that are tierd of getting killed in any place close to 0.0 space. and im sure many said poor care bears get a life. well as the high end ore prices keep going up and finding any ore in empier space becomes immposible what will happen. will we just bow down and pay tolls to scum to pass. or will we all ban together and fight to open up deep space to all. im talking to the corp ceo how much money will you pay for ore till your goods cost so much no one can pay for them i ask you all to look around and see whats coming if you dont you will all be living on your knees. i for one will look for good corps and send them to the swat channel. and maybe just maybe from this small seed will sprot a way to open space to all. i will pray to the plasma gods that it will |

Funny thing about all of this is that there are actually a lot of anti-pirate corps. SWAT is nothing new. The problem lies in the fact that while some of these corps work together they are all to proud to "merge" into each other to become something great.
The pirate corps have all mostly learned their lessons about this and are a step ahead, in that they have merged and formed meaningful alliances to ensure their survival.
Either way I wish these corps luck as they have a lot of work cut out for them. Eve is designed in favor of the pirates. Being anti-pirate is neither easy or profitable.

like i said i hope this dose do what others could not. i have just started a corp lol thier is just me but i hope to grow. so if thier are players out thier that are old timers like me im 42. and are fed up with the pirate threat drop me a line and when i have a core of people i will join with swat and its allies. and will fight to let all share in the bounty of deep space. the only thing evil needs to win is for good people to do nothing. lets not let that happen people

Interesting comments, all i can say is this, SWAT is a coalition of many corps, we encourage anyone who is sick of the pirates to band together as it matters not to us whos banner we fly under. There has been many people in our chat channel in our first week, everyone from one man corps to 20 corp alliance presidents. SWAT is not hamperd by polical goals, therfore we can do alot more then other anti-pirate organizations. We are not restricted to regional domain. Our ultimate goal it to wage war on all pirates and force them into obliteration where they belong. The people of eve are sick of the oppression. I have seen systems that are blockaded, upon entering i am invited into a gang, the gang is the people in the local who are not pirates. They are willing to fight and die to have the right to jump, and they do, and the pirates run.
EVE SWAT is the miner who when he has no other option will pull two of his lazers off his ship and beat to death a pirate with them. Eve SWAT is the hualer that has a 150rail on and a couple of EW mods and will bow to noone. SWAT is the trader in the thorax with 8 ogre drones that is not afraid of commanding them. SWAT is the pilot who when his armor is already at 50% amd he is given the choice of pay or die he chooses to luanch a couple more cruse miss and then self destruct. SWAT is the seller of goods that will not deal pirates. SWAT is the small corp CEO that has been bulding his corp to battleships for the last 2 months. SWAT is the people of eve that may not have combat exp. but they have the glimmer of hope and the courage to fight even though the game is made for the pirates. SWAT is a idea that the people of eve want to be free. SWAT simply puts those ideas into play.
That is why SWAT is diffrent.

well said l am gathering bps from ammo to weapons and im minning like the devil. when i get set up i will be selling weapons and ammo. and no pirates will buy from me. when swat finds a place and sets up ill move thier and will work with them and all that want to fight the pirates. watch your six m8 |

Been wondering about this player controlled space when stations get in game. What is preventing "pirate" or any other corp from owning the space into 0.0 (chocke points) ? After this controlled space thing it's either be in a big Corp or be in starter "n00b" space.. |

personal i think SWAT will do things that others have never done, they have more ppl willing to help than i have ever seen turn out. Plus i know the founding corps in witch i am a member of and they have massive amounts of nuts to throw around and almost all fear nothing so that with good leadership skills is enought to acomplish anything in my eyes. i have played the game and called for help from people like eve marchals when my life was in danger or my ship,who have came once but never helped again these r the problem that everyday eve members face, but SWAT is diffrent our channel is always open and we are always willing to help. I think with wot has started as a small group of people will amount to something greater than i have ever seen before, so pirates fear becuse your time is near, if u ever need help or wish to contibute forces to the cause fell free to visit EVE SWAT in game channel or convo me.............DIE PIRATE SCUM DIE
