This is not a whine but a genuine idea, please read and give thought and consideration.
Although I hate intys, I see no problem with them in their current format, DPS is still poor compared to other frigs and ships, the tank is still pretty weak, they can still be caught fairly easily if they are committed in combat.
There is an issue that I think is a bit OP.
Lets put it this way, If you want to get from A to B whats the best way? Well you could fly an expensive nulli cloaky t3. But they are still relatively slow. So they are pretty safe to use, but if you jump a gate and there is an insta locking frig with a little support and one small amount of lag or a delay on hitting the cloak button, ur screwed.
Shuttles are fast but get caught by bubbles,
Bombers/covops - cloaky but can still be caught by bubbles etc.
One thing Ive seen a lot in 0.0 is the use of inties to get from A to B and they are unstoppable because people fitting them with stabs as well. Has nothing to do with combat. But U can't stop the ship, u cant kill if even if you tried. U need a scan res of about 1700-1900 to lock an inty in time to activate a mod (with quick reflex on the target). That means u need a sebo/remote inty to counter lock an inty, u could use a t3 setup gang with remote boosts (just) but even then, you have a ship that has 3/4 stabs on that is nullified and it'll still get away.
So I propose Idea number 1, that if there be any change that CCP might consider making an attribute that when you put a warp core stab on a ship that is nullified that it has a counter effect of disabling the nullification of that ship. This could even be applied to t3's also, but lets stick to inties.
Just like you cant put a container inside a container because the quantum flux cant do it or wotever, that when you put a warp core stab on an inty the quantum flux inverts the nullification effect of bubbles.
Idea number 2, Or you could have it that the nullification of inties is only applied via a module. So create a module that u can ONLY use on an inty that has to be activated to make it nullified. U could even tie it in with the counter of warp core stabs so u can't use both at the same time.
This brings me to the next issue. If you are an inty pilot which i have also been on many occasions and your in a fleet or solo, camping systems and have drag bubbles setup etc, a hostile ship jumps in and warp to the next gate and u have a bubble setup on the gate. The hostile ship lands in the bubble and u, in an inty, warp to follow it, but damn u cant catch it cos you have warped straight to the gate and didnt land in the bubble behind or infront of the gate.
With an active module that u can ONLY put on an inty to switch on and off the nullification would have a greater capability to catch hostiles that land in bubbles but also means that it uses one of the slots so you would be less effective maybe in other areas, like speed or dps or tank. It would also mean that a pilot would have the ability to choose how to specialise their inty and also mean that they would have to be skilled at avoiding bubbles incase they "forget" to turn the module on or off, just like cloaking after jumping in on a gate camp, make it so u have to activate the module before u warp to get out the bubble.
Would make flying an inty much more interesting. |

If it's that big a deal, smartbomb camp.
Are the few intys running your camp that big a deal? |

Im trying to suggest ideas that makes both inties more effective but also more skilled at flying them rather than nerfing them or how to kill them. read it all please not just half way. |

If you're putting the word "another" at the beggining of a forum post title, you'renot only failing at posting, but also breaking the forum rules.
Try waiting for the official thread and putting these ideas there. Disclaimer: My opinion does not necessarily reflect that of my corp or alliance. My opinion is my own, and if you don't like, that is your problem. |

I'm sure it'll appear there when the offical thread is up, in the mean time post in reply to the content rather than trolling.
Good idea and stands out from other "nerf trolls".
Making a modual to turn it on and off sounds like a great idea and would make an inty far more interesting |

OP is failing to realize that these nullified and stabbed inties nobody can kill are likewise not capable of killing anyone and are extremely easy to kill if you manage the extremely difficult catch.
They sound balanced to me. |

They sound balanced to me. I agree. When ever there is a ship re-ballance/nerf it tends to upset more people than it pleases. It should only by done if absolutely necessary. As Alvatore DiMarco already states, it in effect is a nullsec shuttle with paper skin and pea shooter armaments. Making this ship more difficult to use will discourage people from moving out of hisec. And the difficult thing CCP have to deal with is, the silent majority vote with their feet/wallet while the noisy minority say this thing is too hard to catch, lets make is more interesting for them. So for the argument of the few that would like to have it easier to catch these intys will in effect make it harder for the majority that use them to get to and from nullsec. This will have a negative impact in the long run on patronage in 0.0. Less larger ships to shoot at cause the pilots aren't there to fly them. I could not careless if a red flies straight through my camp in an inty, if he is heading down, that means another target/challenge when that pilot gets into something bigger.
