OK all I need a hand
Tempest or Typhoon
What one is better I cant really see any differance other than the size of the Drone bay. there are a few other but the drone bay is the biggest. And as far as price goes I would have to say the typhoon is the better deal.

If you choose a ship, you are limited to the roles that ship can perform.
If you have an idea of what you want to accomplish, then you know the ship types that can assist you. You may well find that you'll want to fly both of them.
You have to ask who you wish to support, and what do they fly, and in regards to what objective?

I have flowen both the tempest and the typhoon. I like the typhoon better because of it it having more base armor, It is great as a vampire. Has a decent size drone bay (still misses the days when it was 3500m3), Dospite ccp once again deciding to fiddle with my phoon's bonuses, It can still throw projectiles pretty good, although you will need gyro modules and target painters. I can do lvl 3 missions solo with it with little difficulty. Imo set it up with T2 mods and its an awsome ship. It is one of the ships that is seriously underestimated in the game. In the recent alliance compitions I saw a typhoon take out a rattlesnake bs and not even get its armor scratched. That video may or may not be posted in the video section of this website..havent had time to look for it. I have also seena prophacy kill off a tempest a while back in yulai sys. i dont really care for the tempest all that much... it has a super tiny drone bay. and not enough cap, atleast with me, to handel all the guns and missiles i want to add to it. lol ill let someone else describe the tempest lol. I been flying phoons for abt 2 yrs now

But a battleship that could not easily do LVL3 missions should be a really bad ship. ;)
Ok if you fit it with frigate equipment, then maybe.

My scorp 8 months ago would have clearly fit this definition  .
Typhoon for now, get used to the BS ship class, its a major change and better to have a cheaper ship where you can make mistakes than say "oops!" with something that's 100m+.
