Since 2 days ago there has been loads of peopel called "VCBee xxx" xxx being a number from 000 to "n".
Over 20 in Orvolle, loads in Jita.... some goonfleet alt trick or something?

Hahaha I saw this guy in Jita. I was in my cynabal ejected some missiles and he took them. I didn't even bother attacking him he was in a condor and... well I didn't have any fricken guns fitted lol.

Heh, someone has figured out how to pipe chat through a kadiliman auto-response bot. This bot is used in iRO and is suppose to emulate an actual person playing when in reality a bot is controlling the character.

VCBees are the finest mercenary coalition in EVE and are not at all related to Goonswarm in any way shape or form. There are more of them? Damn.. Some of these VCBee characters invaded the FNA starter corp's chat a few days back. We started having really deranged convos with these guys.
You know when one's logged on when you see the word "bzzzzt" in corp chat.. and then they seem to greet each other with these buzzing noises and then they start going on about weird topics. Very peculiar.

Yes, ban them fast! Someone has a different method of entretaining than us. They even fly different ships than me! God, I am sure they are macros, Mr Happ is my witness. He is very smart and won EVE many times. Macro miners tremble when he arrives with Tanaka and their mighty macro-detecting googles.

PS Ban the Goons as well, they are too many of them and they produce lag.
I'm still not sure about BOB, I'll ask the experts soon. I believe they are some dev tools gone ferral, but I'm not sure this classifies as macro.

Earlier, in the Royal Amarr Institute corp channel, VCBee 130 gave us a reading of her epic poem, "U Giev Missl". It was deeply moving, with imagery that conjured up the feeling of bumping and giving missiles, resonating on such a soul-deep level that I frankly wept.

From what I've observed they seem to be roleplaying as Drones. Frankly I've always disliked roleplaying but these guys are just too damn cool. Any roleplayer who greets his fellow with 'bzzzzt' is just awesome.

Here's something to consider. How many people come to the forums to complain about VCBees or goons? 20 people in the past few days? When was the last time someone came to the forum to share their opinion on something they like? It doesn't happen very often, because people come to community forums to complain. It's like that in every game, be it MMO, FPS, MMOFPS, MMOFurrySim, etc. Just because there are 20 people going **** GOONS doesn't mean everyone hates them.
When was the last time people created a "Thank you CCP for making an amazing game where I can have fun and spend my time doing something I can enjoy." thread? Good work goes unrewarded, whereas bad work gets you an army of people going "RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!"
If only 20 people can be bothered to post on the forums about GS or VCBees (not to mention the VCBees has seen about as much approval as rejection in this thread), I don't think that is much of a negative impact on the community. Who ever comes on the forums to say "Oh god xxx is bloody amazing and I just ****ed me pants in disbelief. Thank you xxx, I want to have your babies."?
If VCBees bug you that much in game, take 5 minutes to do a character search for VCBee, then right click and block. It would be much more productive then coming onto the forums to complain about how people aren't playing the game the way you want it.
You're telling us to grow up? Get off your high horse and take some responsibility and initiative. Just do a seach for VCBee, take 5 minutes to block all of them and you will never have to hear from them again in local. You can go back to grinding your sec status or whatever you do in EVE.

me being from OT I actually understand where the goons come from. However taking that mentality here really is doing more damage then adding fun.
The problem is that you're (as in VCBees) making it a point to ANNOY people, and not actually play the game. That's where GS has gone from bees having fun to upsetting a large number of players here.
It's great that you all have fun, it's great that you enjoy fleets of noobships and the like. Just keep the SA mentality there and play the game.
when you post the childish and inane crap on the forums, it degardes the seperation that eve has over wow in terms of its player's mentality.
The steep learning curve and shortage of "omg haxor pwn!" 13-year olds is one of the things that drew me into the game, and now I see that crap spewing everywhere and yes... it hurts the image of the game--no matter how you try to think it doesn't.

I'm a joke? I don't believe we've met. I'm having a hard time understanding your posts, much harder then most VCBees posts. EVE isn't a damn comedy show, but I disagree. EVE is what we make of it, so to you, it isn't a comedy show, but to others, it could be a comedy show. Your posting, while not comedy, is pure comedy. I mean, we can't make stuff up that is as funny as what you write. VCBees is a fun way to chill out and relax, you should try it.

The problem is that you're (as in VCBees) making it a point to ANNOY people, and not actually play the game. That's where GS has gone from bees having fun to upsetting a large number of players here.
It's great that you all have fun, it's great that you enjoy fleets of noobships and the like. Just keep the SA mentality there and play the game.
when you post the childish and inane crap on the forums, it degardes the seperation that eve has over wow in terms of its player's mentality.
The steep learning curve and shortage of "omg haxor pwn!" 13-year olds is one of the things that drew me into the game, and now I see that crap spewing everywhere and yes... it hurts the image of the game--no matter how you try to think it doesn't.
But they don't care you see. It's all just e-playing in an e-game with e-fictional e-pixelships and e-missiles after all. Why should they care what you think ? Why take anything anywhere near serious anyway ? It's not like someone can actually do something about it. And even if, why should your e-opinion count for anything more then theirs ?
So yeah, let's abuse the trial system by adding another 2000 trial accounts to its load, and let's abuse game mechanics by doing our utmost to irritate anyone and anything while flying these trial characters that serve no other purpose then showing off our lack of interest and our uncaring e-attitude.
Well, I'm going to hazard a guess that something's going to give, and it won't be giving missle

If you think the VCBees aren't funny, that's fine. However, the VCBees are very much created to "play the game." If they're doing something illegal, then by all means the GMs should bring the law down, but from what I've been seeing they've been accomplishing more than just "spamming in local."
It's funny that you mention WoW mentality, though. It seems to me that Mr Happ might be more at home over on the Blizzard forums screaming about his purple lewtz or something.

You seem very certain that they're all trial accounts. This is an interesting hypothesis, but you're welcome to search for VCBee again in two weeks and see how many are left.

Well it's good to see you at least have a decent head on your shoulders. The steep learning curve and the idea that I THOUGHT I could do anything I wanted in the game, short of using exploits and 3rd party programs is what lured me in. Truth be told, I was tired of the 13 year old wow kiddies too. Unfortunately the past 2 months I've been playing, it appears that this isn't the case. I guess it's all perspective. People see bumping and "giv missl" as annoying. I see it as high-sec pirating/ransoming. People complain about "spawn camping" in FPS's. I call it Tactical Defense Managment (I actually had a smartass acronym for it I used use, but I've been up for 38 hours now and I can't recall it). It's *******ry. Why would someone blow up a poor navitas over and over in his giant battleship? To be an *******. It seems to me, being an ******* is what makes this game great. The same thing applied to WoW when it came out and had no honor system (lousy piece of crap that is). People played on PvP servers and ganked lowbies to be *******s. Laughing at someone elses misfortunes because of something you do IN GAME (no s-bomb please) is what makes it fun.
Truth be told, this is actually my only character I use on this account, and I have a manufacturing/mining alt account (**** WoW's excuse for a tradeskill system).
Honestly, the reason I just use the block command, is because WoW GM's refused to do anything to people spamming local unless it was racial slurs. I learned to love my /ignore command. It was really too bad that it had a max of 50 users. It just turns out that leaving general chat was the best option, even though in a game like eve, I wouldn't expect an answer to the problem be "don't look at local lolol". Block should be good enough though for the ingame chatter right?
What I'm confused on is this: Are people ****ed at the ingame antics? Or the forums? Unfortunately there is no block system on the forums D:. To be honest, I almost **** a brick when Remedial declared a 2 week trial on forum posting. I support a no forum posting policy when we are talking about an alliance this big, because you KNOW someone is going to be "hurrr *generic dramabomb causing flame*". I've been rather surprised at how well Goons have controlled themselves after we got rid of the dramabombers.
Anyways, this will be my last post on this subject. Some **** has happened today, and I won't say what it is, but just let it be known I don't want to be blamed for getting someone else banned.
Vincent, you're a good guy and it's good to know some people on these forums have reading comprehension instead of hopping going "**** GOONS" bandwagon for some stupid reason. You've earned my respect*.

I have not seen this mentioned even once internally, so I'm curious why you think this might be the case. When you log in, don't you have 3 boxes for characters you can make?

As for the rest, if we're playing by the rules in game, I don't think there's much to talk about. We're playing the game. The rest is just forum drama.

Humour. What is humour? I will to attempt to define it since different people have different views on what humour is. However, this constant spamming on the forums may be funny, but it *is* spam, so please cease to post it. Also, when discussing various matters, and strongly disagreeing, please make sure that you keep it on a civil and non-flaming level.
