Hi probly a very dumb question but am i able to train a new skill from the my character screen on this website or do i have to be in game to select a new skill to train?

After the next major upgrade of the game--Kali--you may be able to schedule a second skill to take over once a current skill expires. I hope that they implement this feature, because it would be a tremendous improvement to gameplay.

they are also planning on bringing out 'eve-lite' which will allow you to change skills and do other such funky stuff from a phone. It's a planned thing and not out yet.

Of course there are two ways of doing this (ijn Europe at least)
a) set up a bunch of cheap GSM modems on a cluster of cheap (Linux) boxes and make a script interface into the database and allow people to send an SMS from a verified number (substitute GSM for WAP or simple web service)
b) hire a company to do this, charge the cost through at 3,99 Euro per call on a 0900 number and bundle the crazy guristas rabbit ringtone with it in a subscription model.
I still have hope for option a. I hope its not disappointing.

Next thing CCP will use the vast processing power of all the cellphones connected as part of their server cluster...
Next time Goons and BOB duke it out suddenly your phone goes active and "phone's home" and starts transmitting data at maximum rate...
