Hunters Presence Amarr	Posted - 2006.08.04 03:11:00 - [1] I'm thinking of creating a web site for the CCG. Read on. I'm interested in writers (preferably with some CCG experience) to write articles such as deck formations, race strategies, articles on particular cards, etc. That along with the usual other things that other card games get (card of the day, card database with user reviews, votes, tournament info, etc). I won't include a forum, since there's no point trying to compete with the official CCG forums, it won't work. The site will be script-driven and automated. I can probably write most of the core site in the space of tomorrow. If I don't get much interest, the site will probably still go ahead since I have some friends who I'm sure will be very interested but if you want in, contact me at [email protected]. The idea is to get the site up and early, stuff it choc full of features and articles and have it as THE definitive unofficial CCG information site. If anyone is thinking of developing any tools for the CCG, be sure to get in touch with me so we can affiliate! ----- Games Programmer \| Me!
Hunters Presence Amarr	Posted - 2006.08.04 12:10:00 - [2] If someone could compile a card listing of both decks in The Great War I'd really appreciate it, since I wasn't able to fork out the money for the TGW package and I intend to buy it seperately upon major release. Note: This is of course on the assumption the decks are static. If more than one person could supply me with listings I can confirm whether they are or not. Thanks! ----- Games Programmer \| Me!

I was planning to post my cards there after I compiled them anyway.. The important thing to me however right now is developing a list of which cards are in which starter pack, rather than a full listing of the series which I intend to acquire off someone else (either CCG two months down the line or anyone else with the time I don't have to make a full list I can transpose into a SQL database). ----- Games Programmer \| Me!

Currently, the article system is in place, just not the user registration. There's nothing beyond the articles at the moment, which are being added by hand. I have a fair ammount of CCG experience with MTG, would be happy to write articles on deck building (although it helps to have people to play against so its not all theory, its a matter of tweaking the strategies to the new game (green weenie/mana + red direct damage deck anyone?)) The dot com equivalent of the site is actually the official CCG site . The site registration is not currently operational. I'm setting all that up after I finish the EVECardDB (the EVE CCG Database). ----- Me!
