If you hate them pesky Crows as much as I do, what's the best mid-slot mod for killing them - stasis webifiers or target painters? If I use a painter, then my guns are useless against Crows and fast frigates. If I can web the frigs, then my guns work just fine, but these fast ships seldom get within web range. Any thoughs please? Thank you.

Sorry mate, there is NO easy way to kill a Crow thats orbiting 4500-5000m/s at 22km... If you are in a BS, you can try to suck its cap with two large nosferatu, waiting for half cycle-time, but there is a possibility that it can activate its MWD again when it has enough cap. If you are lucky, then your 5x light T2 drones can hit it when its slowing down...
Rapier/Huginn is a good ship against missile Crows with dual (preferably faction) web fitted and some mates to kill it fast.

Edited by: goodby2u on 04/08/2006 09:15:12 A stasis web wont work because his distance is too great(dont bet on getting close enough)unless ofcourse your in a ship with web distance skills.
But if you use missiles and have very VERY good missile skills(missile speed)with a target painter you could kill him...possibly.
Now if your getting disrupted by a crow and have an afterburner or MWD and are in a cruiser+ship...You can still get out of it by moving forward at top speed...In which case he might lose some distance between him and you, therefore shutting down his disruptor.

Could just fit a Sensor Dampener, damp his range down to something under your web/nos range.

Which would require two sensor damps. There are better possibilities.

At that speed even really nice painting will not help your precision light missiles to hurt him good.
You need very good light turrets for that job - or light (T2) drones. --*=*=*--
Even with nougat, you can have a perfect moment. |

No painter would give it a sig radius that would counter it's enormous transversal.
Webber drones (if they get in range) or med neut drones may get it in trouble.

Just an idea, I don't know but would tracking disruptors lower is tracking enough to he could not hit until he gets say under 14km?
Good info though.

LO-L, theres no point in track-disrupting a missile ship.
