Hello fellow Eve citizens!
Today starts the official recruitment drive of The Echelon. We'll be recruiting pilots of all professions into our varied departments. Due to The Echelon being a relatively new corporation, there are many vacant managerial positions in our departments, making promotion in your chosen career path a real possibility.
We currently have two corporations:

1) The Echelon - which is the main body and encorporates all departments but the Academy.
2) Echelon Academy - a corporation created specially to teach the newer players, with under 2-5 million SP, while providing for a safe haven away from the wars of The Echelon.
Here is a short list of our departments:
Quote:
- Department of Defence - tasked to escort our logistics, defend our operations, ensure the security of our space, as well as to strike at the heart of the enemy. The DoD also contains the military logistics which is tasked to provide ample stocks of weaponry, ammunition and ships in zones of conflict, as well as co-ordinate capital fleet movements.
- Department of Commerce - they produce and sell all the goods in our corporation. Mainly working off minerals brought from the DRE, they will provide members with discounted or free ships (depending on effort) and seed local markets.
- Department of Resource Extraction - this department contains the civil logistics as well as mining to provide minerals for the DoC.
- The Academy - this is a separate corporation that will have recruiters and teachers to help our newer members.
- Central Intelligence Agency - the CIA will gather information both on entities outside The Echelon, and also on people within to weed out spies and thieves.
- Federal Bank - I plan to integrate a banking system by which richer members of the corp can pool their ISK in the bank, and get interest rates. While poorer members will receive small loans to help them.
- State Department - The main political body of the corporation. It includes the CEO, and the foreign relations ministry.
Minimum requirements
Quote:
- 2-5 million SP minimum (depends on skill arangement). Anything who will be below this will go to the Echelon Academy.
- A will to adopt corporation goals and aims.
- Team spirit and initiative.
- 7 hours per week play time as a minimum.
Our Current Goals

- Recruit more members.
- Organise a mini capital fleet.
- Expand into 0.0 with a large POS.

Ive known Exelsior here since day 2 (i think) of playing the game, a damn nice guy as are all the Echelon people ive met so far.
