hi, hope someone can help
my question is the bonus for range on Auto cannon ammo titanium sabot reads 12.5% bonus, is this a bonus or a penalty? if the later then what about the penalty on a thrasher of -25% rof? is that a bonus because it's a - figure

It's a range bonus. And Destroyers DO have a penalty to rate of fire. So in that case, numbers are self explanatory. (no always the case, anyway).

cept that titanium sabbot redues optimal range instead of increasing it(as you would expect with 12.5% bonus)
- It is much more efficient to talk to yourself in person than via the chat system.

yesh the bonus/penaltys are a bit odd at times, for titanium sabbot it's a penalty, and for trasher it's a penalty as well ;)
the ammo that actually gives a bonus to range gets a -50% to range bonus, fun isn't it?

so does that mean i get an extra 50% range om antimatter hybrid charges i always thought antimatter were the shortest range

Bonuses go as this :
Carbonized Lead, Explosive et Kinetic, +60% Nuclear, Explosive et Kinetic, +40% Proton,EM, Explosive et Kinetic, +20% Depleted Uranium, Explosive, Kinetic et Thermal, 0% Titanium Sabot, Explosive et Kinetic, -12.5% Fusion, Explosive et Kinetic, -25% Phased Plasma, Kinetic et Thermal, -37.5% EMP, EM, Explosive et Kinetic, -50%

cept that cabonized lead has a -60% range bonus listed(but it does increase range)
ammo range bonus listing should be fixed -_-

Hence it's a penalty. Look at Carbonized Lead. It extends your range by 60% and has -60% in the database.

Weird. Is that a thing related only to projectile turrets? I've never noticed such a thing with hybrid charges... Or I'm so used to them I don't ever notice?
Anyway, the chart I gave you is correct, so you should refer to it to know how it works.

it's the same on hybrid ammo antimatter is listed as having a 50% range bounus,
