Well it seems i'm not the only one who hasn't recieved his DHL shipped package. It seems more shipments have been announced to dhl, but according to them it haven't been picked up.
So might this part of the problem be that dhl is at fault and not ccp???

That's all well and good, but either way CCPs communication needs to be better. At the moment, it essentially doesnt exist :/

Hmm...
I'm in the United States, and have the same problem.
If it is DHL, then they will never see business from me ever again(DHL that is. I'll still give CCP another chance  ).

testy : well this is just one part of the problem... the shipment part... not talking about customer service not responding.. like your thread is about.
Anyways, i think it is lousy that DHL has it registerred but cannot tell me anything at all, and tell me to contact ccp myself...

I've just had a fairly lengthy conversation with a friend at DHL. Business contacts for the win.
Essentially what's happened to you and I, and others, is that CCP have generated an order that has produced a tracking number before the item has actually been shipped. This is commonplace in the industry.
So essentially DHL have been told that they are going to be used as a courier, but as of yet, CCP have not told them to come and pick the items up so that they can deliver them to us. Therefore, the blame lies wholly at CCP's door at the moment; they haven't given DHL anything to ship.

Mail orders (which are cheaper and, it seems, don't pay VAT/customs/whatever) are arriving before DHL orders. Yay.
Edit: Btw acording to a Kieron post by 1st August night all packages had been shipped... and my package seem to be sitting in Reyk still.

I have been told (through order-tracking) that it shipped a few days ago, but I never got an e-mail saying it was shipped, or a tracking number for the order. You guys have more info than I do.

log onto customer login... press order tracking.. you get a shipment number there...

I went to the icelandic DHL site in order to get all the info. To date it still says the same thing: Order information recieved. This means that the nothing has been shipped, but that it has been slated "to be shipped soon(tm)".
Quite annoyed. Why bother marking something as shipped if the courier has not picked the stuff up? Also it negates the advantage of using a courier instead of normal post if the normal post packages get shipped right away.
It would be nice to hear from Kieron or somebody else about this again as the information seems to be that SOME orders have been shipped other have not. Specifically I would like to know if the tracking number I have from DHL means that the package is out the door, waiting to go out the door, or simply that the order is confirmed and the money deducted.

Well, I see the bit about the reference code: shipdate/ordernumber
But how/where to feed that into DHL's system is rather... well... obtuse. If I use it as a reference number, neither DHL nor DHL Global recognize the shipment as even existing. :/

you then get detailed information
find the line that says (DHL xxxxxxxxxxxxx)
the x is your order number for dhl...
