This is just a dumb thing I thought up but the EVE Gate was created during a golden age of humanity which allowed the colonization of New Eden. The catastrophic event that severed the EVE Gate's connection could be related to the arrival of the Darkness which started the collapse in our home system.

Well, ok, Destiny apparently is still a good game i guess, but its such a huge copy paste from Warframe, its unbelievable. Even the freakin loading screen was copied... Ofc fanbois deny it :D

Having played both games, I can tell you haven't.
They're very little alike, in terms of gunplay, RPG mechanics, controls, art asthetics, payment model, or almost anything else.
But here you are:

Wouldn't be surprising since it was made by the people who made Halo. "Hey bros, lets make a game where a supersoldier spacemarine that looks like the Doomguy has to save the universe from evil aliens. Nobody has done that before."

Destiny plays far more like Halo than like warframe, and has a much heavier emphasis on its open world than warfame's mission progression.

Story sucks. But story sucks pretty much everywhere.
ME3? Story pretty much sucks.
DX:HR - kinda bad.
Majority of stories are horrible because the modern gaming industry is taking developers and coders for granted and thinking - "hey, if they can code stuff they can make the full product".
EVE is a good example of why thats a bad mindset. EVE wasn't just made by coders, it was made by people who understand social and political sciences, economy, asset logistics, have a grasp of physics, etc.
Destiny has good gameplay for the same reasons. It doesn't have any political, economic or logistical elements cos thats not the scope of the game. But Destiny has great gunplay, mechanics, and everything feels crisp and silky smooth. Its a solid foundation with the infrastructure that can be added to. |
